Really not near the airport. Our room was up 50+ uneven stairs. Room was clean. Bed was hard!

I booked this hotel in order to have a quick and easy place to crash overnight in Nairobi. I flew in around 9pm and had an early morning flight on the way back out. First, it is very difficult to reach the hotel. The roads from the airport to the hotel are not convenient. Then, the hotel is marked on the wrong location on google maps. I finally reached after about 1.5 hours of driving (for 5km!). Then, the hotel was locked, despite me indicating to them that I arrived late. My cab dropped me off, so I ended up standing on the sidewalk (at night) for 20 minutes with my luggage until the receptionist came to open the hotel. The room itself was big and had mosquito nets, but it was old and not very nice. The toilet seat was broken. The hotel didn't have water for guests so I paid the receptionist to go get some. When I went to leave in the morning. I told the receptionist I had paid through Expedia. She insisted this was not the case and that I should pay in cash. I believed her and paid. I later saw that Expedia had indeed charged my credit card for the room.
