Pullman Auckland Airport

Perfect location right at the airport to pick up family arriving on an early morning flight.

We decided to stay here the night before flying out on a trip the next day so we wouldn't have to deal with Auckland traffic in the morning. Booked parking in airport carpark E and walked to the Pullman which wasn't that far but it happened to be pouring with rain the night we arrived. Check-in was all good and easy, Staff were friendly. The room was modern and nice and the bed was very comfortable. The lighting was dull (as is in most hotels) Nice big tv. And no extra charge for the snacks and drinks in the room which was a nice surprise, but the bag of chips I had were all soft and pretty gross. We decided to have dinner in the hotel as it was too wet to go anywhere else. Restaurant was busy and very noisey and the food took a while to come. The meal was not what I expected and I didn't enjoy it, also very expensive! Otherwise it was good not having to get up super early to drive up 2 hours in Auckland traffic.

A very relaxing short stay at this comfy, clean and quite hotel. Very convenient to airport. Staff are wonderful and very welcoming.

The room was nice and we had a comfortable bed and slept well. However when we arrived we were straight off an international flight and asked at Reception if a light menu was available as we had eaten on the flight and was told there was in the restaurant. They booked us into the restaurant. The Restaurant manager stated when we arrived for a meal there was only fine dining and no light meals available, we were then told we had to order from our room which was frustrating. Room service was excellent. Then we discover only coffee was available in our room, no tea but a jug to heat water was supplied (although faulty). No spoons at all either. There were two over half used toilet rolls in the toilet and no replacements at all. The fridge had several drinks available I assume for payment such as 5 beer, a bottle of wine etc. The was no compendium at all in the room to explain costs of those drinks etc. I looked at the TV thinking it would all be explained in the Hotel channel but no. A bit frustrating for a Hotel commanding close to $400 a night. Over all comfort 9/10, amenities in the room 2/10.

They greet you outside the hotel and the service doesn't end the entire visit. We decided to stay at the airport due to a very early departure - Best decision ever! We used the easy bus service to the City Center both days and were pleased with the ease of use. The Top floor consists of a restaurant and bar where service, once again, doesn't lack. The food was good and reasonably priced. We even went over the the Novotel and had apps at the bar and were able to charge it to our room at the Pullman. I can't say enough about the hotel, service and connivence.
