Sudima Queenstown Five Mile

The hotel is modern and well maintained. It is one of the cleanest hotels we have stayed at in NZ. The only thing we didn’t like was that our room lacked fresh air as it had no windows. We all had nose bleeds by the end of our stay, felt similar to being on a long haul flight with recycled air.

Hotel is very new. Super easy parking, it is located in a shopping centre so almost everything is available around the hotel. Close to airport, 15 min driving to town centre.

My stay at Sudima Hotel was mostly pleasant, but we encountered a significant issue on our last night. The water temperature and pressure in our room were problematic. We couldn't get a decent warm shower; the water would either be too cold or the pressure would drop significantly when adjusting the knob to cold. This was a massive inconvenience as we prefer to shower at night, and it was too difficult to lodge a complaint given how tired we were from traveling. Despite this issue, other aspects of our stay were excellent. The parking facilities were convenient, the hotel's proximity to shops was perfect, and the cleaning service was top-notch. Additionally, the coffee at the podium was a delightful way to start our mornings. I hope the hotel addresses the water issue to improve future guests' experiences.

The overall stay was good, very nice location, lots of parking options, and shopping being situated in the mall complex etc., our bathroom door lock was broken when we checked in but staff were very quick to get it fixed, one thing downfall was we had dinner in their restaurant but the quality of food was not appealing at all compared to the price we paid, we ordered 2 x dish of fish and chips bit it was full of oil and lots of burnt fries, we were not able to finish it as it was too oily...

Great accommodation without having to stay in Queenstown, but so easy to travel into town, Arrowtown and very close to airport. Lovely room with alpine view and super comfortable bed. Helpful and friendly hotel team. Would defintely stay again.

The Sudima has over the top friendly, helpful staff and quite, clean, modern, updated rooms. It was very convenient for walking to shops and restaurants as well as a quick drive to the airport.

We loved being a little bit away from the busy city. It was quiet and calm and had a grocery store and dining options close by. Rooms were comfortable and clean, staff were friendly and helpful. We liked it so much we stayed there at the start of our trip then again before flying home.
