The Palms Turks and Caicos

It as absolutely terrible. The didn’t give us the room category I booked and the elevator was broken. We had to walk up and down 4 flights of stairs over and over. They kept telling us they were going to move us, after dinner, tomorrow morning. …, but ended up refusing to. They were very nasty about it too. We left snd went to Seven Stars a significantly nicer, friendlier and better run property.

We had a week long stay at the Palms and were extremely happy with everything from the property to the service. The rooms were very nice and spacious and allowed us to feel like we were living in a house. The pool area was larger enough to enjoy even when crowded and the views from the rooms and the pools were amazing. In addition to our stay at the Palms, one of the other great things is that they provide shuttle service to their two other sister properties which allowed us to enjoy other restaurants and views without having to rent a taxi.

Super clean, all employees were very nice and friendly. Included breakfast was excellent. Pool chairs were hard to come by after 7:30am. We chose to taxi if we wanted dinner off the resort ($25-30/night).

First, I would stay here again because the staff were wonderful! We arrived July 4th weekend, it was not overly crowded. Nice atmosphere. Pros: Beautiful, well kept grounds around property including pool and beach. Plenty of clean towels, cold bottled water always readily available poolside. Kind, friendly, responsive staff. Rooms were large and clean. Free buffet breakfast with variety of selections. Cons: I booked all rooms at the same time so I'm not sure why my room was in a building further away from my other family members. First room I was given (Penthouse Suite) had a musty, moldy smell from air conditioning which blows directly over the bed. The love seat and area rug needed a good cleaning or replacing which would probably take care of that musty, moldy smell. View from Penthouse was cement rooftops and parking lot. I asked to be moved and the manager was very nice and accommodating as possible after learning it was also my birthday. The next day I was moved to a different room that looked exactly like the first room (minus the smell) with old furnishings and an area rug that needed cleaning or replacing. Considering the cost of stay I think they could do either. The food was hit or miss on the property. Especially the 4th of July $113 per person BBQ; not worth it! Shops on the property have prices are exorbitant. Shuttle only goes to their sister properties. They do provide free bikes. Overall, enjoyed my stay because it's TCI! Will cost you more than expected!

Let’s start by saying this is our first visit to Turks. The check in was excellent. The room was very nice , super clean and plenty of space. AC was ice cold if you want that. The swim up bar at the pool is great for food and drinks and the staff is so friendly. The grounds are very 5 Star and excellent kept. We travel at least 10 plus times a year and this place is Awesome. We did visit all the other places just to check them out but this place beats them hands down.

It was perfect. I like how they greet you with a fresh towel and cucumber drink. I like that the bikes were free to ride and the complimentary breakfast. The only thing I wished they would of had was an atm on the property and shuttle to airport. But all that was minor. Overall the place is perfect.

The communication with regard to property amenities , the staff did not inform us. Room cleaning was deplorable the staff did not professionally clean the room. The TV did not work sound would go in an out. The meals were horrible. The breakfast we paid for was not utilized which resulted traveling off properly for a decent and enjoyable meal. End result monies spent and I should be reimbursed for the inconvenience.

Our experience at this hotel was perfect. Hotel is a quick transfer from the airport. The hotel is well kept, by the beach and has yummy food. The best part of the entire experience is the staff. I wish I would have written down every name but these people have my vote as best in the world. Gia, Antonia and Valentina at the spa...Emolienne, Frankrist at breakfast (there are others too...) Linda and Carlton at the pool/beach...wow. I can't say enough about these people. Off the charts and we travel a LOT to high-end resorts.
