Busy, had to wait for arrivals to collect their cars prior to checking in. Parking space was a little tight. However, hotel was clean, cheap and convenient to the airport.

Though we got in a bit late, we were tired & hungry, hoping we could catch a bite before bed & early departure. The hotel had nothing available besides poorly stocked vending machine. They advertised other snacks available. Upon asking the desk staff what may be close & open, he told us nothing. I called a taxi, who told us of several options they could take us to, but not really within walking distance. More if we had more time to go into Gatwick. The staff was not particularly knowledgeable, never once answered the desk phone when we rang 3 different occasions. While I was up there talking to the taxi, I watched as they refused to answer the phone while not even visibly busy. Often vacant from the desk or around for help. Cleaning staff tried walking straight into our room at 7:30am without so much as a knock. I shoved it right back closed when it opened. My wife & I were still in bed prior to departure that morning. They said they'd thought we checked out. But there should have been record to the contrary. I have stayed at several other Best Weaterns across several countries, this was not indicative of those experiences. This one in particular I would not recommend.

Nothing wrong with the hotel - basic, clean, though showing a bit of wear and tear. Car parking is a nightmare though - we arrived at about 10pm and the car park was jammed. Turns out it seems to be used for long stay parking for people using parking services at Gatwick which means that huge parts of the car park seem unavailable for actual hotel residents.

Good, basic hotel. Has everything you need for a stay before or after your flight (2-3 miles from Gatwick). Not luxury but has everything you need. Really happy with our stay.

Hopeless desk service - key had to be reset every night on a four day stay. Parking a bit hit and miss with all the vehicle long/short term parking for Gatwick.
However, room, wifi, bathroom excellent.

Used this hotel for an overnight stay prior to a flight from Gatwick, and the booking was made 24 hours prior to arrival. Upon arrival, reception could not find our reservation, and we were made to feel that it was our fault. We contacted Hotels.com by telephone and received the Days Hotel reservation number (as the Hotels.com number was no use to the hotel), and it transpires that the booking was made by Hoetels.com via Expedia, and the hotel had not received the details from Expedia. Eventually this was received, and we were able to check in.
The room was adequate for purpose, and the bathroom clean and modern. The only faults would be the time taken for the hot water to run for the shower, and the need to set the room temperature at between 25-28 degrees C to get it warm enough. The second room we booked also suffered from poor window blinds that let in light from the carpark area immediately outside the room. An area for improvement would definitely be the attitude of the two gentlemen on reception...

Stayed 1 night as leaving early in the morning for a flight. Convenient for Gatwick car parks. Enjoyed the stay, very good value, used the restaurant in the evening for a simple meal which was also very good for our needs.
Reception was polite and helpful, would definately recomend this hotel and will be quite likely stay again.

Rooms look nice till I looked closer, smell of mold when I walked in the room ,there was mold on the wall near the window not much pressure in the shower . Stayed for 5 nights and had to re-boot key card every day which was a pain . Breakfast was additional at £6.50 There were some plus sides .... The free wifi in the rooms was very reliable and the car parking was ample . Overall I would say the hotel is ok for a 1 night stay
