Guests consistently praise the friendly and helpful staff, delicious food served in the on-site restaurant, and the convenient parking. No parking near hotel car parks , had to park over 100 yards away, not sure if this is a car park for Southampton cruisers. Unfortunately no lift to a high second floor and no help with cases. Looks like gardens have not been looked after for some time. Breakfast Buffett was a plus though.

The room and services were overall very good and the spa was nice albeit a bit small. I did however I find the bar incredibly expensive, the parking was not the best and unfortunately I had not been told that there would be events on during both nights of my stay. This was an issue because my room was directly opposite the function room which was blasting music for most of the evening. The music was stopped at 11 however a little heads up would have been greatly appreciated as it would have been impossible to try and get an early night. I know that this wasn't solely my issue as another guest was making a complaint at checkout on Sunday morning.

An excellent place to stay after a long international flight. From Rob at the front desk to Evan at the bar - and all other staff, including those in housekeeping and serving in the restaurant - they all make customer care a priority. The setting was tranquil and the price was reasonable. I enjoyed dining in the small on-site restaurant with only about a dozen tables. The food was tasty and the service was stellar. Definitely a place to return to again and again!

Stayed for 3 nights and don't think I will be back. Mouldy bathroom ceilings, heavily stained " Clean" towels, nightmare parking, noisy dog in room next door, I could go on! Only real positive was the friendly breakfast staff.

The staff we had contact with were generally welcoming. Lovely building and grounds with good facilities; plenty of car parking albeit rather spread out and not necessarily signed. We were disappointed with the room allocated for 2 reasons I specifically booked a twin room which was advertised as in an area of the hotel with a lift as one of us was recovering from a hip fracture and still using crutches and stairs are still difficult. Sadly we had rm 5 and despite me raising the issue with reception on arrival, no change of room was offered, the stairs were not easy during our stay. The room was also over either the kitchen or bar and the noise from movement of equipment or something similar on 1st evening was loud and disturbed us for some time. The room was clean and comfortable and had most facilities needed for our stay, although bottled water would have been appreciated.

Distinctly underwhelming. The manor is beautiful on the outside, but just like a travelodge in the rooms. Bed was rock hard and so were the pillows so a terrible nights sleep. Really poor choice for the coffee/tea making facilities and not enough. 2 cups for 3 of us, enough milk to make 2 hot drinks. 2 sachets of coffee and 2 teabags. Very expensive all things considered. We have had much better experiences in Travelodge, or small independents such as inns. We would not stay there again.

Only parking available was a distance away from reception area. Breakfast no orange juice. Bathroom door hard to open from inside, so ended up leaving door ajar.

We checked in at lunch time as we were attending an event close by and returned at 10pm to collect the key for our room. There was no wifi information in the room and the bedside phone didn't work, even with an unplug/replug. The bathroom appeared to have been cleaned but the basis was full of water. The breakfast area is rather too small for the number of people trying to get served and although the servers were very pleasant and helpful it wasn't the most calm and tranquil start to the day. Lovely location, easy access and excellent parking.

Dining was not available unless pre-booked. Bit remote for travelers without a vehicle. Not much help on where to get dinner. Really nice Manor worth staying there.
