Nice location right off the highway, so convenient for our travels. Not a lot of restaurant options beyond fast food nearby, but we did find a nice Mexican Restaurant - Churras. Clean rooms, nice amenities.

The Airport La Quinta in Amarillo is a hotel we've visited previously & always been treated well. We were traveling with family (2 cars) and kids & dogs. The hotel staff was just as efficient and kind as we'd come to expect.

We had a camper in our overnight stay and the parking lot was ample. The hotel was clean the breakfast area, spacious and tastefully decorated. The staff was quite friendly and helpful.

Clean and comfortable One question we have stayed 5 La Quintas on our travels each one the sample as comfort and cleanliness but the breakfast was quite different in this hotel with less choices and quantify, wondering why.

Our stay was comfortable for one night. The staff made sure we got caffeinated coffee since we had to get to the airport at 4 am.

The area is along the the interstate, so you can expect some noise, but it seemed unusually loud. We just stayed 4 nights at a Courtyard in Colorado Springs along side the interstate and never heard the road noise as we did in Amarillo. When I looked out the window in the morning I saw that that local police department was in the parking lot. There are been 3 cars that had widows broken out and items stolen from them. It would be wise for La Quinta and the other local hotels to hire outside security.

Zero stars! We arrived to a front desk staff that acted inconvenienced because of our late check-in at 1am. He proceeded to give us a room on the first floor that was one room down from the exit door to the main parking lot. People started to use the door at 4:40 am and it continued all morning. From 4:40 am on, we could no longer sleep since the door slams every single time it’s used. Worst night sleep ever at any hotel.

Was very busy, yet very quiet. Check in was quick. The only thing is since Amarillo is a major stop over the parking was full of trucks towing trailers that took up several parking spaces each, making parking for single vehicles problematic.
