The property was clean even though the blanket on the bed had a couple stains, we bring our own when we travel so this didn't bother us too much. The person who checked me in was nice but when I called the front desk the next day the younger gentleman was rude when I asked how to get the TV off Spanish fortunately with out there help I fixed the problem myself. Breakfast was ok Saturday but non existent Sunday.

We stopped at this location just after midnight on our way to a beach family vacation. I had booked the room on Hotels.com (on my app) I am on Eastern Time and it was 1AM. However the room was on Central time. The clerk informs me that we are in different time zones and that the 2 min difference had actually caused the room to be reserved for the following day therefore check in was at 3PM (4PM my time). He had available rooms and had just checked an individual in in front of me. I was denied the services I paid for. He then smirked and informed me that I would not get a refund and I could stay there IF I wanted to pay for another room. I contacted Hotels.com who said they requested a refund and it was denied. This location stole my money. They denied services and refused to refund the funds when they admitted it was a simple mistake based on the app reserving the room due to the time zone! I travel FREQUENTLY for work. I will NEVER use this hotel chain or Hotels.com again. I will be sure to share the review they both deserve with my colleagues nationwide.

Not a pleasant stay. Front desk clerk was nice, but not at all concerned about my room not having functioning air conditioning. My room was hot and muggy and I was not able to sleep the entire night. I went down to the front desk, and the clerk, nonchalantly said, sorry. Shrugged his shoulders and told me nothing he could do. I asked for a different room, but refused. He claimed the hotel was booked solid. Meanwhile, it was midnight, plenty of parking spots open, and I walked around the property where there was visibly plenty of rooms available. My frustration is that I believe he refused to give me a different room, so that he didn’t have to clean my original room. I believe prior guests refused my room prior to my arrival because my room lights were on, the bathroom was not clean, and the AC was on full blast blowing hot air. All the rooms that appeared to be available, had all the lights turned off, and the AC units were NOT on. Although the front clerk was nice, I wholeheartedly believe he was not honest with me, showed no remorse or empathy for my situation. Needless to say it was a hot sleepless night. Unfortunately because of my poor experience, I would hope to receive a refund, even though the clerk said there was nothing he could do. Also, I would never recommend this hotel to future guests.

My stay was great. The room, towels and sheets were clean. The king size bed was comfy. The parking areas are well lit at night. The bathroom could have been cleaned better because hair was every where. There wasnt much to choose from for breakfast. Great 1 night stop for business.

Beware! I am a regular traveler to Birmingham and have stayed at this hotel a number of times due to its convenient location for me. 3 different times they have charged my credit card with a $100 deposit, and have not removed the charge until I called my bank to go after them to have it removed. At the front desk they’ve told me each time that the $100 deposit would be refunded once I checked out. It was not. If you stay here, make sure and check your credit card statement after your stay. This hotel thinks they can get away with keeping the $100 deposit without you noticing it on your card. I am a frequent traveler and stay at hotels all across the country, and I have not experienced this kind of deception before.

Stephen at the reception desk was an amazing employee. He helped me tremendously. I think he deserves a raise. He helped me regarding my room reservation although I was late because my flight left me stranded in Atlanta. I was on my way to a family funeral in Wylam and Stephen, once again, I will say, was amazing helping me. Quality Inn Airport Southeast should be proud to have employees like Stephen.

Reserved a non-smoking room and the room I first got smelled like it had been occupied by chain smokers. Went back to check-in and got another room that wAs much better. Also, booked this hotel because of the airport shuttle. Called ahead and found out the shuttle was “down for maintenance”. Had to pay for transport.
