Clarion Inn Columbia Airport

One night stay .paid for shuttle to and from airport. That never showed up .tried phoning hotel no answer ended up getting taxi to hotel .when asked about shuttle was informed the bus was broken when i informed them i messaged them to arrange time pick got no response told i paid for shuttle told to speak to manager in morning as not much they could do with regard refund

This was the worst hotel that I have ever stayed at in my life. Cockroaches were everywhere. The floor was so dirty that when I walked to the bathroom from my bed my feet were black. There was no housekeeping service in my four night stay. The tv in the room did not work. The parking spaces were all flooded where I was told to park the first two days. The breakfast had the same items leftover form the previous day. There was no ice machine. When I checked out and explained these issues to the front desk lady she only made excuses and seemed not to care at all. This is not a nice place.

This place is ridicules dirty. Bed had burnt marks on it, soap was used and the walls look like they had a paint ball fight, the door wouldn’t lock. Try to check out due to flight leaving early the lady gave me a problem with checking out. I ended up missing my flight so I went back to find out I was still checked in to the hotel smh. This was by far the Worst hotel I ever stayed in!!

Water line was broken and was not informed about this issue at check-in. Went back to ask about the water and the front desk staff seemed annoyed that I was asking questions about the lack of water. Water did come back on later in the evening but it was discolored and I didn’t know if it was safe to drink or bathe in. Room was dark and dirty. The sheets, towels, walls, and lampshade had stains. Smoke detector unit was ripped out. Safety latch on the hotel door did not work. No breakfast was provided, except for coffee- which was cold. Shuttle to the airport was out of service as well.

Close to shops and airport and I'm loving my stay with family

Front desk personnel was not pleasant at all upon checking in! Poor customers service, non informative on all the services which was included in the cost eg breakfast, airport shuttle, gym, etc!

I like the location and distance from the airport.

We liked the location, being in the ground floor and easy parking. We didn’t like not having a working guest laundry room, working ice machine, and stale cereal and molding bread at breakfast.

Everything was good. More attention could be paid to details, like mirrors, tubs..etc. The property was quiet and front desk staff was efficient. If traveling through, I would recommend, for the price alone. Thanks for a pleasant stay!

I knew it wouldn't be the greatest hotel ever, but just needed it for the night to fly out super early. I picked this hotel because of the airport shuttle, but was informed that night they had no driver. I think they should have to inform you of that ahead of time. Also, the place may have been fine for a male traveler, but for a female being all alone, it was a very creepy place. My room didn't look like it had been cleaned, there were cigarette holes in the comforter (please just replace, you can't do that), old stains on the towels, and very lumpy pillows. I slept fully clothed without covers and hoped there weren't bed bugs. I've learned my lesson and will never go cheap again!
