Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Gulfport

Hotel smelled like cigarette smoke. Congested parking lot, small uncomfortable rooms. Won’t be back

Great. I stayed here twice and while I was on the road traveling from Georgia to Texas. Wonderful experience

planes flying over were too noisy

Overall, the room was clean and the beds were comfortable, however the carpet felt a bit sticky, though I didn't actually see anything on the carpet to make it so. The bottom of the tub was "dingy" looking but that could be because of the non-skid material on it...however, the tub was extremely slippery so I understand the need to have the non-skid strips. Room was for 3 adults and we only had 2 wash cloths in the small vanity area, and zero wash cloths in the bathroom...it was late when we arrived so we didn't ask for more because I always carry extra when I travel.

Everything was excellent! The folks I traveled with love to sleep cold, so I requested an extra blanket. Fairfield was gladly able to accommodate me with this! They were all friendly and helpful with the knowledge of local venues.
