Travelodge by Wyndham Houston Hobby Airport

The room smells terrible, moldy, black mold along the broken bath tube, the bathroom door won't close since it's tilted flying cockroaches that we have to zip all our luggages, the towels were brown, the pillow cases are grey, a broken metal bar with sharp edges stuck out of tge side od the bed scratched my husband leg...need I say more? We went back to the front desk to ask for a different room but the gut hidden in his room and won't come out. We waited for 20-30 minutes and had to give up because it passed midnight, a lot of mosquitoes around, and we have to sleep to catch our fly in the morning. A few people stopped by but left from the long wait. They told us all of the surrounding hotels are sold out due to flights delay. We had no choice but stayed put. We both woke up at 5 from headaches due to the horrible smell from the room. We traveled a lot but this was the worse EVER. They even changed my credit card twice so look at your account carefully. I rarely write reviews but this hotel needs to treat their PAYING customers with respect. We booked this because TRAVELODGE is a good brand but don't let the name fool you.

Imy flight was delayed and when I arrived I was not able to check in to hotel after midnight as the reception was already closed and the hotel did not answer my phone calls. So I went back to the airport to find another lodge.

Room smelled like cigarretes , sheets were dirty ,tv dint work , loud people hanging out in the hallway and the receptionist and manager dint speak english , very bad experience after traveling from so far !!

Near the airport. The roads are not in the best condition. Buildings are average. It did what it needed to do for the night, but needs a lot of work.

We needed a room near the airport for only about 6 hours for an early morning flight This was a huge fail even for the price this hotel was not worth it. Room had roaches, very dated, bathroom shower barely had water pressure. Staff was rude and not friendly at all. I will never stay again at this hotel. We were only at the hotel for a total of 7 hours and that 7 hours too long!

Let me begin with: I'm not too picky. I've stayed in places a lot of people thought were bad and it was fine. Not this one!! Front desk staff were rude. Sketchy people everywhere outside. Cockroaches in the bathroom. Bed covers had stained spots. The people above us were extremely loud. Sounded like they were throwing furniture against the wall. All night. We ended up checking out at 2:30 am and slept the rest of the night at the airport.

You have to check in outside from a glass window. It so happened to be cold that day. No elevator for upstairs. Walking into the room the floor sunk at the door. Musty smell hit you in the face. Tiles on the sink and bathroom floors were busted. Stains on the shower curtain. Stains on the blankets. It was supposed to be a non-smoking room but the sheets had stains on them. Couldn't tell you if the bed was comfortable because I was afraid to sleep under the covers. Got woken up in the middle of my sleep with banging on the doors. Not the room I was in but you can hear it throughout the motel. Will not ever book this please again. I tried to get a drink from the one soda machine but the person at the motel said I had to use my card. That was not happening. I was only there to miss the traffic so I could work or I would have left already. It was just down from Hobby airport.

Wasn’t next the the airport I searched for, not sure why this hotel pulled up. Then when I went to call the front desk they hung up on my twice before I even got to say hello. Finally on the 6th try I got through and wanted me to pay almost double what I payed for the room because I was going to be checking in 10-20 minutes late. I ended staying somewhere. Also the only reason I thought to call the front desk about check in (very small fine print at bottom of email says check in stops at midnight) was on my previous layover I got an email asking me to rate my check in process which I obviously had not done as I was still in another state.

Not a good hotel, close o hobby airport, very bad condition.

The lady at the window would not let me in the lobby I guess because it was around 2 am. Their internet was out and she would not give me the room I paid for or a room at all. I had to go back to the airport and spend the rest of the night sitting in a chair in the luggage dept. of the Houston Hobby airport. I want my money back.
