Howard Johnson by Wyndham Houston

Very poor customer service, the walls in the room dirty , mold in the curtains of the shower. My check in was at 3:00pm , I get there at 2:45 and the guy from the front desk make me wait cause apparently there wasn’t room available, and during my wait , I see the same guy givin card keys checking in other customers before me… horrible the experience I travel from Austin Texas and I came back the same day…

We needed a room for a super early flight out of Houston Hobby. Ok first off the rude lady at check-in says they require IDs of will occupants. Is that legal? C'mon Texas what's with that kind of invasion of privacy?!! Will not stay there again just because of that. Room was so so, sheets had not been laundered. Reception lady lied to us and said she had no first floor room until 3 pm. The room we got was ready at 12:30 as I noticed it when we first visited the property. And cleaning never visited it in the interim. Lazy woman was on lunch and didn't want to help me. Property was fairly clean outside. Room was well appointed with furniture and fridge/microwave. Coffee maker and supplies too. I did not see any bugs. Bath tub was permanently dirty. Shower pressure and controls were both in need of some help. Dirt in corner of bathroom too. Bonus, reception is staffed 24 hrs a day,. Not bonus, reception is ghetto style with bullet-proof tiny window. These 2 star motels have the disgusting habit of not laundering sheets. We travel with our own and disinfectant too.

This hotel doesn't have the lobby open. Sign still up taking about covid. You check in at window and it was 10pm, windy and cold. Then had to walk around to room because took Uber there from airport. The room was nice, spacious. But the bathroom. Baby, mold visible around the tub and molding. Didn't even shower it was that gross. Washed in sink area. Glad it was just for the night because I wouldn't have stayed more than that. One night then headed out to sea on Carnival's; Jubilee.

The property was affordable compared to other motels in the area and conveniently located by Hobby airport and I-45 Freeway. The motel was not properly cleaned but otherwise okay.

Free parking. But it didn't feel safe.

Upon check-in we had to talk through a window, the lobby was completely locked in accessible. The young lady representative started out in a rude tone but when she saw we had reservations she warmed up. There were trash and trash bags outside around the property. The room was non smoking but smelled like a pool hall. My sister is on oxygen so this was not good. Theini frige was good the room was clean. The bathroom door gave me anxiety. It was split with the wood coming apart and practically had me locked in the bathroom, so of course i began to panic until i got out. Had to use the restroom with the door open. This hotel is convenient because it is near the airport but i would not stay again.

Hotel was clean and nice. For a budget hotel less then a mile from the airport, its not too bad. The outside definitely looks off putting but honestly it wasnt too bad. Got a good nights rest so not complaining.

Roaches. Big and small - on furniture and toilet. Broken tiles. Carpet lifting at corners and trash stuffed under it (at room to bathroom transition). Door with nails hanging out. Door not connected to hinges. You could see outside under room door. Mold. The staff - possibly family owned - are nice but have got to do better. So many roaches. Sadly I am unable to leave photos as app isnt uploading them. I wish I could - it was bad. They also own the travelodge in the same parking lot.

Pretty great. Was traveling with kids, they loved the pool. The room was clean and spacious. The bed was pretty big and comfortable too. There were an abundance of channels for the kids so time flew for them. Overall, my kids and I loved it

The hotel is really close to the airport which is awesome for early morning flights. The room was pretty clean and had a nice smell to it. The bathroom was nice too. Have stayed here before and this place doesn't disappoint.
