Hotel June, Los Angeles, a Member of Design Hotels

Visiting my college kid. Place was perfect with lots of restaurants nearby. Close to LAX for flights in and out. Food was good, free coffee in the lobby and great little bar at the pool.

I was disappointed in the parking situation. $45 to park for me was very pricey. I thought the rooms were very scarce and I understand minimalism but I just didn’t find the room comfortable plus our room looked over the parking lot of Ralph’s and I thought for the money that we paid for the room, I would’ve preferred a better view.

The property itself is unique, there was no parking available, we paid for valet parking. Everything worked at the hotel. The staff was super friendly

Such a beautiful hotel and perfect for a few nights it’s located a few minutes from LAX so it’s super convenient! We didn’t know it was valet parking only so that got a little annoying when we wanted to just grab things from our car it wasn’t an easy access but everyone in the hotel was so friendly and hospitable! However the onsite restaurant is very pricey and not a ton of options available. The rooms were so cute and very comfortable!

When I checked in there were additional charges that were not mentioned on the app! They charged me $97 for the room service which I never used! On top of that they charged $45 for valet parking because there was no other option. The room was worst than a motel! I paid $230 for one night and there was not even breakfast included!

The hotel has been renovated in a modern-chic style, so it was a very pleasant stay for us. All aspects of the room were great! The only minor feedback is that our rooms had 2 sets of blinds with a gap between the 2 sets, which let a lot of light through both at night (street lights) and in the morning (sunlight) making it difficult to stay asleep. Parking is also Valet only, at a high cost of $45 per day which was a bit much, but we were able to find free street parking around the corner overnight. We were very pleased with our stay and intend to return to this property as it was in excellent condition and conveniently located near LAX (but still in a safe neighborhood) and close to Santa Monica, Venice, and Westwood.

Great stay overall, good location, very comfortable bed in a spacious room, nice amenities (pool/restaurant). Id recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay near the airport but still close to venice/santa monica (20min uber away!
