Room furniture is just old and damaged. AC units makes a lot of noise and it's a nightmare sleeping with the noise. Room was not very clean, probably a 6 in 10. We paid more than 200 bucks for one night and it wasn't worth it...the other issue is the limited parking that forced us to park on another hotel...yup, it's crap.

Rooms very stark, old dingy and not traveler friendly?
Food terrible and $8 credit a Joke, when all other hotels include breakfast. Beds were atrocious, lumpy with sandpaper sheets. This hotel does not deserve the DoubleTree moniker!! I will nevewr stay here, ever again! Note to all: DO NOT STAY HERE, MOVE ON !!!

We were visiting family in Gilbert and we chose this hotel due to proximity. We were very pleased with the service from the minute we arrived until we checked out. Can’t say enough about the incredible staff. Everyone was extremely helpful and friendly. A quick shout out to the breakfast chef. Both mornings all 4 of us loved the breakfast. Never had a breakfast of that quality in a hotel ever. I travel on business all over the country and you guys are doing everything right. Thanks for a great experience.

We booked an accessible room for 2 nights. The threshold was very difficult to roll across out of the room and required me to move to the front, bend down and pull on my husband’s wheelchair. There were no facecloths in the bathroom and only one small piece of a broken (in several pieces) bar of soap. There was no place to set toiletries in the bathroom because there was only a sink with no countertop. I walked on the uncarpeted floor barefoot and there was dust and dirt on my feet. For $171/night I would have a least expected a complimentary breakfast but we had to pay for it. No half and half for my coffee which I had to pay for (only artificial creamer-yuck!). Do better Hilton. I always use this brand and have never been so unsatisfied! I will have to rethink my travel accommodations in the future.

It's a weird hotel to be called a DoubleTree. It has a ranch motif, which is kind of strange to begin with, but the walls and floors aren't super insulated, so I could hear my neighbors all around me.
The entrance is awkward as well. The most accessible entrance is also a construction entrance, and the parking lot is pretty compact.
It's not an awful hotel, but I don't think I'll stay here again.

We chose Doubletree because of its location near the Phoenix Mesa Gateway airport from which we were to fly out of the next day from a vacation stay in the mountains. Our stay proved to be an additional day of vacation as the hotel has so many amenities, and is across the road from a wonderful mall with great restaurants. The staff at the hotel is exceptional. They went out of their way to accommodate our every need and desire. For instance, we wanted to play our favorite card game and they looked around until they found us 2 decks of playing cards. It was my birthday and I got a complimentary dessert at the restaurant. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The beds were wonderful and the hotel is appointed so beautifully. We loved the hotel and will most certainly return.

I needed a room to stay that was close to the Mesa Gateway airport. This hotel is beautiful, comfortable and safe. And they have room service which I really appreciate.
