Omaha Marriott Downtown at the Capitol District

The hotel is easy to get to. The downtown area of Omaha is wonderful. Self parking is a snap. Check in was quick. After self parking in their garage; it is quite a walk especially with luggage, but we found a luggage cart right away. The room was spacious for 5 people. There wasn't a microwave in the room and I didn't realize that when booking it; I like to pack food that can be heated up to save money. Checking out was fast. Great experience!

Lovely hotel, great open common areas with amenities for meetings and remote work. Pool area is well set up. Wish there was a sauna or a hot tub, that would have made the gym/pool area perfect. Great food in the hotel and adjacent restaurants. Walking distance to Old Town. Also there is a lovely courtyard attached to the hotel with restaurants and lounge areas. The onsite parking is expensive. Usually self-park isn't as expensive as it is at this hotel. That's my only knock on the property. Good to have in/out privileges but $25 USD a day is a lot when downtown Omaha isn't that busy unless there is a concert or a game. Great overall experience would happily go back if in Omaha again ...

This hotel is understaffed in all areas starting with reception. Multiple times we stood and waited at the bell desk with our luggage as the reception staff just stared and offered no help until I asked if we could get help. I was traveling alone with three kids. The attitude specifically from the front desk staff was ridiculous. As if they were irritated that they were in the hospitality business. Melissa was one of the front desk people that repeatedly offered attitude and glares. The pool did not have quick access to drinking water either. Typically at least a dispenser is sitting on a table adjacent the pool but in order to get water you must travel three floors down to the bar. Very odd.

If your staying at thjs hotel, FREE PARKING should be included. $25 to park (in Marriots parking garage) and its a hassle leaving the parking garage. Other than that a very beautiful and clean hotel.

Paid way too much for a not great hotel room, thought breakfast was included and should of been, so spent 50.00 for breakfast at society which was over priced. Then get a email after we got home that we had to pay 25.00 a day for parking, which was never mentioned on Travelocity web page or the hotel.If I would of booked room directly the room would of been cheaper and wouldn’t have to pay parking.Will not stay there again.

I appreciated the hotel's location as it is close to the airport. There were several interesting dining options and the centralized courtyard was an interesting feature. Staff members were very friendly and helpful.

Tried to charge valet parking rate instead of self park. Tried to charge for internet that I didn't use. Did not inform us that we needed our room key to get out of parking garage upon check out, so we had to back up and call the hotel by phone. Staff not very friendly. Expensive and not worth it. The Marriotts we stayed at in Idaho and Wyoming were much better.

Loved the environment. Was very clean and inviting. Only thing that would have been great is better parking. But everything else was perfect.

Staff was very helpful especially Michelle at the front desk. Convenient location to dining. Hotel provided shuttle to and from the airport

Nice hotel, across from the convention center and 7 minutes from the airport. Would stay here again. The in-house steak house is good.
