Quality Inn & Suites near I-480 and I-29

At first I thought the room was too hot.But I forgot it is really humid in Iowa/Nebraska.I loved the continental breakfast.It was an okay trip and stay.I recommend travelers to stay at the Quality Inn & Suites.

Bathroom vent hanging out of the ceiling, full of dust and dirt. Appears no repairs/updates have been done for about 30 years. Clientele hanging around the outside of the property questionable (I arrived at 2am from a late flight, just needed the room for the night, didn't know the area, shame on me for not researching before booking). would not recommend.

Looks like massive amounts of mold growing on the walls in the pool, the paint is chipping really bad on the floor area as well. There's an mold growing in the shower, I took pictures multiple spots in my room I stuck to the floor even though it's carpet so I just tried to keep my shoes on. The door was stuck so bad that it actually broke the corner of it opening and closing it, my children were not able to open the door to our room because it's stuck so bad. Even with the curtains drawn - they're pretty old and have a bunch of holes, there was a lot of light coming in at night from the parking lot and street lights. Somebody would sit in the parking lot for 20 to 30 minutes with a really loud motor on the side of the building we were on, this was 9:00 p.m. and later... I could hear it over the air conditioning unit in our room. The windows had a small leak as well. With tax I paid almost $150 for this room, there is also a sign on the front desk that you need to pay $100 deposit that will be refunded in two to three business days as long as you did not damage the room... I'm a single mom with two kids and about 250 dollars coming out made it so that I couldn't get a different hotel for the night.

Please do not stay here! It shouldn’t be open to the public and hopefully soon it won’t be. We arrived Thursday for the College World Series. Building is decrepit, doors were broke to enter the building , the ac unit was hanging off the wall in the room, there was mold everywhere in the bathroom, there was no shower curtain and they put warm bottles of drinks in a food vending machine. Landscaping over grown , drug deals happening the parking lot. Obviously, the person in our group didn’t do enough research but still. It had to have been abandoned for an decade and they tried to open to make money from the CWS. We left and booked another hotel & Expedia is processing the refund.

This property is not appealing in the least. My room was clean but run down and minimally furnished. The hotel has a strange smell to it, the hallways are dark and dingy and overall gives an unsafe feeling. The area around the hotel was clean and I appreciated the extensive lighting in the parking area as it is a guess whether your car will still be there in the AM. 2 stars on this hotel is generous.

Rooms are outdated. The place is run down terribly. Tried to surprise me with a $100 deposit at check-in. The place smelled like weed and dryer sheets as soon as I walked in the door. Came outside this morning and there was dirty underwear on the sidewalk and someone actively doing drugs in the parking lot. Will not ever be staying again!

Like sleeping on ashtray soaked pillows and sheets. And people parking right outside the first floor window running their engines all night long?! Who are they? Are they homeless? Are they running the engine to stay warm? Why do I always seem to get these rooms? Lastly, charging me a deposit for such a room is unacceptable. It was cleaner when I left than when I arrived. Said 3-4 days to refund. Still waiting on Day 5 for refund of deposit. Someday I’ll stop staying in places like this.

Renovation has been on going for over a year. The king size bed was not a king or even a queen it was a full. Hours for the pool not posted. Missing lightbulbs, all chrome in the bathroom was rusty, paint over spray everywhere, spray nozzle on shower not on and leaking, cable not working, internet shut off at 3am and not back on in the morning. Staff talked loudly until there was an issue and pretended to not understand and pointed and grunted. Was locked out of room prior to check out when key stopped working. Room next to exit and door slammed loudly each time it was used. If I could I would give zero stars. The worst hotel I have ever stayed at in 35 years of travel.

When we first checked in the staff member had no clue if our room was ready or what to do. He left us for about 15 to go “check” our room. When he returned he did not tell us how to get to the room, where the pool or breakfast area were or time of operation. He couldn’t tell us any places nearby to eat nor did he have any food pamphlets/flyers. 1st room: - Stinks like smoke! hotel’s solution: they brought us air freshener spray. I said no so he told me to wait and he would get me another room. 5 mins later he takes us to a room 2 doors down that he just sprayed. - no hangers - Asked for towels but were told we have to wait for the laundry to be done 2nd room: - smells stale… smell was horrible! - Fridge doesn’t have shelves - cigarette burns in blanket - No phone - Towel pole fell off - Smoke stains dripping down bathroom door after shower - Black marks/dirt on back of shower door - Fan doesn’t work

The property looked like it was going threw a remodel. Our room was clean but needs updated and a new bathroom. We were only there for 5hrs to sleep due to flight schedule change.
