Tru by Hilton Portland Airport Area

It was the perfect spot to stay when having an early flight the next morning. Easy to the airport and quick. Room was very comfortable and clean.

The hotel is new, well-located, clean, friendly, and has helpful staff like Branden. The shuttle to and from the airport is efficient, friendly, and professional at any hour of the day. It is near the airport and many restaurants, in front of the Mall. Quite close to downtown, with better prices, free parking.

The hotel was great, offered free breakfast and airport shuttle as well as shuttle to venues in the area. A lot of places to eat in the area. Our flight got cancelled and we wanted to extend our stay but the price increased to a ridiculous fee so we had to check out. This is something I find annoying in the hotel industry...

Given the inexpensive nature of the hotel, we were very pleasantly surprised. The hotel is absolutely immaculate. Service was always prompt and very friendly. The breakfast is actually quite good with lots of options from sausage to pancakes to bagels and cereal to fresh fruit and yogurt. You won't be short on options. The grounds of the hotel are shared with another Hilton Double Tree with hotel amenities shared between them. We used the heated indoor pool several times at the double tree. Parking was always easy with ample spots available. Therein rests my only complaint, there are a half dozen lights in the parking lot and at night, none of them are on which means the lot is almost pitch black. The other is that the sidewalks in the lot have beautiful greenery, except the stalks are covered in thorns and spill over into the sidewalk. My toddler brushed by one and got stuck in the leg. The rooms are reasonably spacious and quite comfortable. The Maine Mall is right across the street, along with some great activities like an arcade and bowling. Further up the road is a Walmart and several other shopping options. In terms of food, everything is within a 5 minute drive. I highly recommend Texas Roadhouse, Alex was our server and was absolutely amazing and helpful.

Great location near airport, but the beds and pillows were awful. I would expect more from Hilton. P.s. the eggs are awful!

Great location near portland airport, free shuttle, nice room. Cost to rent one room for one night once our flight cancelled was outrageous. Absolutely not worth $400. Not even worth $200. Rate should have been $150.

Fun soap products in bathroom. Shuttle from airport helped late at night. And took me to car rental in morning.

Convenient location. 10-15 minutes from Old Port. 20 minutes to Old Orchard Beach. There was convention at the Doubletree next door so both hotels were near capacity which made for inadequate parking The free breakfast was very good.The front desk gave me a technical help number when my WIFI wouldn't work. I was fine after a 5 minute tech support session. We had a king-size and rooms are small. We were OK but I think people that are not mobile might find the maneuvering a bit tight. Fitting the chair between the desk and the bed left no room to pass by. The only real complaint was that the first 3 days our hot water was fine. The last 2 days it was barely adequately warm. I thought it was an anomaly because of the weekend capacity until it reoccurred on a second day. I asked another guest on our floor and he experienced the same thing. If the shower was warm I would give it 5 stars despite some of the other very minor issues but a shower is a basic need.

Great breakfast, somewhat small room with only one chair. Very convenient with gas and wash only a few blocks away and the airport next door almost. Good value.

The rooms were clean and well designed for convenience of travelers. I think the common areas such as the breakfast time, tables and area of food should be cleaned more after uses. The front desk did a fabulous job keeping the pancakes moving so you didn’t have to wait. But, the tables and counter tops were dirty and not very well attended too
