Hotel 1550

We stayed overnight to catch a long-haul flight the next day. This hotel had all the basics covered for a short-term stay, including free breakfast and a free airport shuttle. The surrounding neighborhood is walkable with several restaurants.

The staff was very friendly. The room small but very modern and very clean. Very easy access to street - not a huge place - and pleasant business neighborhood that felt perfectly safe to us. They have a modest hot breakfast - microwaveable omelets and pancakes and packaged pastries and juice and coffee and fruit and cereal and hot chocolate and juice. The only reason it does not get 5 stars is that their airport shuttle stops picking-up at airport at 11:20 pm and stops delivering to the airport at 11:30 a.m. This is not noted on Hotels.com website where it says "airport shuttle included". We arrived at midnight and left at noon the next day and ended up paying about $60 in uber charges because we missed the shuttles on both ends. We however did return after our trip out of the country from SFO to stay another night and managed to get shuttle both ways and it was a perfectly good shuttle when it was running. We would stay here again if we know our arrival and departure times match their shuttle hours.

The stay was quick but very nice. The front desk attendant was so kind and Polite. There is a complimentary shuttle that took us to the airport in the morning. It arrived right on time and got us there efficiently. Would definitely stay again!

Good hotel with breakfast. Had to ring for shuttle to pick us up after long flight, when it did nt turn up on time. But they did drop us off at car hire place, which was very helpful

We stay there because of the shuttle and close shopping.

I was very surprised about the $18/day extended parking fee…that should have been very prominent. I wouldn’t have stayed at 1550 if I’d known.

Heavy use of deodorants the shuttle was used a group of hotels in that area only came hourly short at night was cold otherwise it was just alright.

A quaint little hotel with friendly service, close to the airport, worth a stay.

Room is ok for traveller but the reception did not remind me of my VIP status and I did get my bottle of wine. Breakfast is poor. Airport tranportation is good.

airport tranport is very good and punctual. Reception is fast and friendly. But the room is a bit dark and breakfast is poor.
