La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Seattle Sea-Tac Airport

Arrived to find a remodel in progress. NO elevators working. No notice of the mess and need to carry bags upstairs. NO breakfast. Had to wait over an hour for shuttle from airport. Never again.

The hotel is under construction. The lobby and breakfast room are completely torn up. They have a makeshift check-in counter next to the door as you walk-in. I entered to the sound of saws which were painful to my ears. I feel sorry for the employees. The elevators are out-of-service and for some reason the airport shuttle wasn’t running. I’m not sure why the shuttle wasn’t running but it may have just been temporary. For the included breakfast, they gave us bagged breakfast since the breakfast area was closed. Had I known all of this, I would not have stayed there. Fortunately it was just one night. The room itself was decent. It looked like they had remodeled that area already.

Holes in the sheets, broken TV, soiled carpet, the front desk looked like it was a garage sale setting, it was close to 90 degrees in the lobby, the elevator was broken, we had to go up 6 flights of stairs with our luggage. They did offer to give us a full refund when we first arrived. But it was 11pm and where was I supposed to go?

I picked this hotel because it had an airport shuttle. I called ahead to arrange for the shuttle, as instructed. I got a text just a few hours before arriving telling me that the shuttle could not pick me up. I had țo pay for an Uber. Also, I received a text the morning of my stay telling me that the elevator was out of service. They offered cancellation without a penalty. This was a problem because I had twisted my knee the day before, but I still needed the shuttle, so I decided not to cancel. But the shuttle didn’t come through either. The breakfast was a joke. There was nowhere to sit and it was inedible. Had to go to Dennys next door. So the entire experience was bad and a waste of money.

Lobby was under construction and a total mess. Elevator was broken so they wanted us to climb four flights of stairs with our luggage. We got a refund and left.

By far the worst hotel stay I have ever had. The surrounding parking lot and entry were filthy, the pool was green. Completely unaware there was a construction mess in every aspect of the lobby and first story rooms. I have a pending hip replacement in two week, you could only imagine my displeasure when I found out that I would have to drag two large suit cases to the 4th floor because the elevator was out to order. Get to my room and my key did work so had to climb down 4 flights of stairs only to have the front dest attend admit that she was unsure if the key would work. Finally got to a nice clean room and to relax and found out the TV and internet didn't work. Last, after having a comfortable sleep I grudged down four flights of stairs to have a cup of coffee and read my newspaper on my computer only to find out they have run out coffee. Had to walk down the street to buy a cup. Not a great experience and would only recommend to an extreme enemy.

We received an email the day before that the elevator was broken but that staff would be available to help with luggage. We kept our reservation knowing there would be help and assuming we would be on the lowest floor possible. We were on the 6th floor and had no assistance with our luggage which was 150lbs worth of suitcases. Every time we left the building our room cards stopped working and had to be reset. Which is miserable when you’re climbing 6 flights of stairs up and down. On our last night we scheduled a 3:30AM shuttle to the airport. At 3:15 when we made our way to the lobby we were then told that our shuttle was canceled and we could wait until 4 for the next one. Nobody thought to call our room before we came to the lobby to tell us it was canceled. We had to call an Uber and pay for a ride to be on time for our flight even though we were assured the shuttle was 24 hours.

Currently has construction in lobby, rooms nice, breakfast sparse but excellent food safety rating, welcoming staff. Great shuttle to airport drivers.

The La Quinta Inn was just what we needed for a 1 night layover near the airport. It is an older building but clean and comfortable. The shuttle to the airport was on time and quick, it runs every 30 minutes all the time.
