Quality Inn is an extremely low quality hotel. My friend and I booked a double bed room for a two night stay, it costed us almost $550 for the two nights, and it was the most disgusting hotel we’ve ever stayed in. To begin with, the staff was very rude when we checked in. When we first got into the parking lot to bring our luggage in, there were multiple sketchy men staring at us and making us very uncomfortable and we felt very unsafe. When we got to our room, we noticed how dirty the room was. The counter and the bathroom were gross. There was a half used roll of toilet paper on the holder, and the “clean” towels had stains on them. The sheets and blankets on the bed didn’t feel clean and the room had a bad smell. We could hear every conversation through the walls and it was very disturbing. We noticed how dirty the floor was, so we used a baby wipe to wipe the floor and the white wipe was completely black. So disgusting!! The ice machine in the hallway was broken too and the fridge was barely cold and dirty so don’t plan on having cold drinks. One of our beds was broken, and totally slanted and very squeaky because it was literally broke. Please do not come to this hotel and waste your money and time. This hotel totally ruined our trip. We love traverse city but we do NOT love Quality Inn. Please understand that this hotel is not worth your money at all. I recommend going to Comfort Inn or quite literally anywhere else. I can not express enough how nasty this place was!!!!

Filthy dirty and complete dis repair smelled parking lot is littered with thousands of cigarette butts garbage smashed beer cans. The rooms are cobbled together and they don’t even feel clean. They smell the Elevator was disgusting. I mentioned to the manager, and the guy just shrugged his shoulders disgrace. I live in a beautiful town and this is just an eyesore I left. There was a homeless guy dead Outside next to the pool. To charge with a charge for two nights it’s just an abomination I’d like a complete refund. I don’t know how you people can charge so much for a room and a hotel that is so disgusting. I’m very serious. I’d like to have my money back, but they have a minimum so it cost me $500 to stay in a dump. Is that what you want believe me I will Not stopping complaining about this hotel and telling people never to go to it’s disgraceful it’s an absolute dump and when the guy shrugged your shoulders, I know
Doesn’t that say it all?

The room was nicely decorated and comfortable. The hotel itself needs updating of carpets, reception area, general attention to cleanliness, cob webs, etc. The elevator is quite far from the entrance, and with heavy suitcases can feel like a long way. The reception clerk did actually help with my bags, which was very nice. There is no shuttle from the airport. I arrived late during a popular week in Traverse City, and could not find a ride (none of the long list of taxis were available) until a very kind airport employee noticed my predicament and offered to drive me to the hotel. Otherwise I would have had to spend the night at the airport.

I didn't expect too much from this place for $69/night (expedia.com discount), and I'm glad I kept my expectations low. While the room was quite clean (good enough for three nights), some of the guests were rather undesirable. Most everyone there was in town working in the trades.
First night, someone tried gaining access to my room while I was inside with my dog. Second night, we returned to the hotel but couldn't enter the parking lot because of police and fire trucks. They were there for a violent incident among a certain room's guests. It looked like there were at least eight people staying in the room. Still not sure the exact details of the event. If you're bothered by cigarette smoke, I would skip this property. Also, if you have kids, this is probably not your best choice in town.
Ironically, the name is "Quality" Inn.

This room was $300 a night. There was plastic sheeting on windows, absolutely ZERO outside lighting, no parking, hairdryer torn out of wall.

The property was clean but at night there were alot of bugs in the room where we could not sleep. The receptionist was rude and did not want to change my room saying the bugs are normal. Who wants to sleeping in room full of flying bugs not me.

The room was nice and clean, and the bed was comfortable. The side of the building we were on allowed us to have direct access to the parking lot which was nice for loading and unloading our things. Staff was very friendly, and they seemed to really be mindful of COVID regulations and cleaning.

From the parking lot to the front door to the reception area to the steps or elevator everything was dirty. The carpet in the hallway was filthy. The room we found glasses and an old booze bottle behind the night stand. Old shampoo and conditioner bottles in the shower. Poor lighting in the room. Then the continental breakfast only had eggs and white bread. No muffins no yogurt no bagels etc. Unclean tables. Very unsatisfied.

Stayed there in the past due to cleanliness and good breakfast and this time the place was decently clean but the breakfast was not good at all. The eggs tasted like flavorless bits of cardboard. Parking was a hassle due to large trucks parked in the parking lot. I will consider someplace different next time.

I appreciated the location, on-site parking, free breakfast, and pool. However, we were disappointed that housekeeping did not stop by even once during our 5-night stay, even to take out the trash or bring fresh towels. It felt like a ripoff to pay as much as we did to stay here.
