DC Hotel Charleroi Airport

It was the meanest hotel i have ever stayed in. They took 30 euros for a shuttle (taxi) to the airport a trip take takes 5 minutes and we had to wait 30 minutes for the taxi to come. Going by regular taxi cost less than 10 euros. Fooling us big time.

Not particularly clean and very noisy. Go for a different option if you’re only spending one night close to the airport. The staff was friendly though.

Despite the proximity to the airport, it is very difficult to travel to the hotel by foot due to the security fencing around the airport site and car parks. This in itself is not the hotel's fault but they do make a lot of money out of this situation by charging 15 euros for their airport shuttle, which is essentially a 5 minute journey. To make matters worse, despite the high price you still need to share the shuttle with other passengers who also paid 15 euros each. Not great especially when, in my case, one of the other passengers was clearly ill and proceeded to cough over everybody in the van for the entire journey. On the plus side the room condition was in line with the price paid and the staff at check in were helpful and polite.

Clean, very nice professional service. Mega comfy beds, quiet and close to the airport. I absolutely recommend it. You will not be disappointed.

Friendly staff, very close to airport and surprisingly quiet. Bedroom had the advantage of a separate toilet and shower room. Hotel transfer was on time and very quick.

Indeed like some other said, they charged more than they states… And never try to walk to airport. The shuttle cost 15 EUR.

You need a taxi to go to the airport because the airport is located at the back of the airport at 45min walk !!!

Great hotel and great staff. Advice: don't try to walk from the airport to the hotel. Order shuttle. I cost just 5€/person
