Bayview Hotel

This is the forth time for me, coming here, Cleanliness: Parking lot. Nothing out of order,always looks welcoming. Front check in, clean as a whistle. When I get to my room, after a long travel. I open the door. Walk in , take my shoes off. Knowing, my sock won't get dirty. I don't have to check anything! Because I know it's Clean. And the staff: Nothing but praises there. I met a lovely young man there. Full of personality plus. He got his 5yr. pin. How wonderful was that for him! However when he needs to be more white collar, he's on the money. Another front person. A young woman, who got her one year pin. She was over the moon about it. I needed some help. I said I would like to be there when the maintenance man comes. It was to do with my TV.. Well by gosh, after 5 minutes of getting in . She called me . 5 minutes later he was there. I saw this young woman, just before her shift was over, a few hr. later. She asked how did it go? Like WOW!! The maintenance man. Was the best ever. I'm not tec savey this fob for the tv. We sat down . He explained everything. Yes I got it. So simple. He was a true gentleman!! Oh ya, before I forget. The cleaning lady. She was down the hall from my room . I just got back and saw her. I waved my arm and said good afternoon . Well. with her beautiful blond hair in a pony tail . She did the same back to me. How wonderful is that! Thank you Bayview Hotel, for your wonderful staff!! True Canadian Staff!!!!

Nice clean, convenient to airport

We really enjoyed the pool, hot tub and water slide as we are travelling with our grandson. The staff was helpful and informative. Appreciate the extra towels in the bathroom with 3 of us sharing a room.

The parking in the back was very convenient, staff were very friendly, the rooms were very clean, excellent on clean!!!

4th floor internet speed was too slow to do anything other than email in spite of added D-link in room to increase signal strength. Hot tub should be hotter nice facility, good parking, good location

The service at this property is one of the best I have received while travelling. We were travelling for a sports event with teenage athletes and the staff was super accommodating and responsive to our needs. They even helped with charging my EV at the hotel (charging stations are being installed in 2 weeks). Breakfast included all basics including cereals, breads, eggs, hash browns and sausages (or other meat), pancakes etc. Location is central with food and coffee joints nearby or within walking distance. Would stay here again!

A very welcoming staff, clean rooms and halls, a terrific breakfast buffet and good parking. The area has several restaurants and shopping within walking distance. Central location for Courtney, Comox and Cumberland.

The slide & pool area were enjoyed by the whole family. Breakfast buffet was great to have when traveling with a large group & kids. The staff were amazing & went above and beyond to make our stay fabulous. They were so friendly, helpful & always available.

Pleasant as always! We always stay here whenever we travel to Courtenay.

Room looked out on parking lot with constant noisy traffic in and out. They put me a section which they seem to use to people with pets. The barking was constant - dogs seemed to react whenever anyone one walked down corridor.
