Old House Hotel

Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Facility is well equipped and well thought out. The area around the hotel is fairly “inner city” however if you have a car this isn’t too much of an issue. Small airplanes fly by regularly due to proximity to the courtenay air park , which could be a pro or con depending on what interests you. We thought it was kind of cool to be swimming while smalls planes zip by so close.

Great place to stay before an early morning flight out of Comox.

The overall stay was great - it's my go-to place to stay while I am in for business. A safe place, with great amenities, and close to restaurants and town. The rooms are nice and big if you want to host people or stay in the kitchen. This stay though wasn't as clean as previous stays. The teapot still had dishwater in it, and the living room had some dust and it seemed to get a touch up then a proper clean. The room is also dated. As someone who travels for business a lot, I am looking for more USB A/C ports and better outlet proportions throughout the room. The room was also in the other building with further access to the other amenities, potentially a personal preference to make for next time. The room was also smaller than the main buildings and the same price as the main building rooms. Overall though good experience

Absolute satisfaction with my recent stay at the Old House Hotel in Courtney/Comox area. As an avid traveler, I have stayed at countless hotels across the world, and this hotel undoubtedly exceeded my expectations in every aspect. From the moment I arrived, the staff's efficiency and congeniality immediately put me at ease and set the tone for a fantastic stay. They were always ready to assist me with every query and went above and beyond to make sure I had a memorable experience. The amenities in my room were exceptional, and the size of my room was spacious. The two-door access to the bathroom was a unique feature that I thoroughly appreciated. The well-appointed kitchen was as functional as it was aesthetically pleasing. The comfort of the furniture was perfect, and the drapes helped me have a peaceful and restful night. The towels were out of this world; plush and thick beyond compare, and the bed was dressed in superlative linens. The cleanliness of my room and all the linen and towels were exceptional. The ease of access to the elevator made getting around the hotel easy, and the location was far superior to any other property in the area. I was impressed with the seamless check-in and check-out process and the level of professionalism displayed by your staff. Overall, my stay at The Old House was beyond my expectations and locally, on par with the Fairmont Waterfront in Vancouver. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Nice room but a light was not working, homeless people in the parking lot, no complimentary soap or moisturiser. Not the greatest value for dollar. I guess I was expecting more.

Great Place to stay. Pool & Hot tub are great. Lcals restaurant is excellent although expensive. The rooms are fine although 2 queens would be better tan 2 doubles. No breakfast option is a definite drawback for travellers and families.

Perfect location for Folk Fest - the festival shuttle bus stops right at the front door of the hotel!

Our family was very happy about our stay at the Old House Hotel. We were in suite with a full kitchen which is ideal when travelling with kids. We really enjoyed having the bike path right behind the hotel so that we could enjoy daily bike rides with our children.
