La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Vancouver Airport

One of a few hotels that is located within the downtown area of Richmond. Rooms were comfortable enough, property itself is quaint and extremely convenient to local Asian eateries and shopping. Parking is the only drawback to this facility as their parking spaces are not designed for large vehicles in mind, so spaces can quickly fill up or two spaces could be taken up by larger vehicles. The hotel does offer to pay for select spots on the street if it comes to that: just make sure you tell the front desk you are unable to find space and they will issue you a pass and instructions on which spots you can park at, which the hotel will pay for in the morning. If convenience to the shopping and dining areas of Richmond is your goal, then you have to consider this lodging.

Decent budget hotel, near the airport. Nice facilities- pool etc. Near lots of places to eat, especially if you like Chinese/Japanese food. It is, however, on the flight path to/from the airport, so there is some plane noise. I’m usually a light sleeper, and I slept ok once we closed windows and I went to sleep. Something to bear in mind.

Our room was great. We only stayed 1 night to be near the airport for a morning flight. Breakfast was good and the staff were very friendly. There is no restaurant on site but there are quite a few within a 5-10 walk. Woukd definitely stay there again.

The carpet in the room is burgundy color and it seems very old and probably good at hidind dirt. But all and all, parking was very super easy and walking out to find places to eat late at night was AMAZING. I recommend this place just for the location alone.

Had a Great time. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The one thing that I wished they had was the airport shuttle. If you have the world airport added to your name, you have to have an airport shuttle. When I chose this location, I chose it because I thought it had a shuttle to the airport. Other than no shuttle this place, staff and area were all perfect 😊👍

Hotel was nice. The location to the airport is great. Went for a walk to try and find a decent restaurant in the area. There were a dead rat in front of the restaurant so went back up the hotel. Hurt my hip so difficult. Not a good trip

Loved everything about the hotel but there wasn’t adequate parking and we had to park on the street

Great location near the airport, lots of Asian dining options around. However there was a noise coming from the wall in room 205 where we stayed, every 60 seconds or so it would go off and keep going for another minute, on and off. Maybe an AC machine (not the room's), or elevator, or ice machine or some other kind of machinery. We could hear it more in the dead of the night which is when we arrived in the hotel to sleep after a long flight from the US before continuing our journey next day. We were able to sleep anyways but that noise was annoying, this is why I am giving an average review.

Very little space for parking. Breakfast options are very little. Boiled eggs and sausage.

The property is a little on the older spectrum but but it is clean and comfortable. There is a noise factor as it is underth flight path of planes landing.
