Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Winnipeg, MB

We just traveled through, it’s convenient and easy to sleep in and take off the other day. Our room is a little bit smelly, we spray some perfume to cover it. Other than that, price worthy and okay with stay.

Our flight was delayed and when we called the property to ask about a very late arrival (3:30 am) the desk clerk was helpful and welcoming. He checked us in ahead of our arrival so we would not be penalized. The room was spacious, bed and pillows very comfortable. The property is undergoing renovations, which are needed for upgrading, but overall this property was very comfortable and well maintained. Breakfast was good, staff very friendly and helpful.

The security during the night didn’t do their job and the night clerk didn’t answer the front desk phone. There was a young man who was intoxicated was banging on a door and screaming/yelling with swearing and going up and down the hall. All security did was just stood there and watched him without saying and/or even to escort him out of the building. Calling the front desk about 3 times with no answer and here he was standing the security watching the young man. This was very unacceptable especially as a customer that need their rest for the next day of work/meetings. I totally regret that I booked there for my business travel. I tried to change my booking for the following night but was unable to do so, as only allowed just to change the name or room.

conditioner wasn’t working (78 degrees & set at 50). The floors throughout were dirty, cigarette burns, plaster missing, the entrance doors to the hotel were filthy& to top it off someone had a dog that started parking continually at 4:30 am till 8:00. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. Paid $200 for a 4th rate hotel. Doesn’t say much for Wyndham properties if this is the norm.

Not really sure what was going on at this hotel but definitely would not recommend. Outrageous price given the condition, and cleanliness especially on the stairs and in the hallways. Heater in the room was filthy. There were a lot of people hanging around so didn’t feel very safe. There was a great big pile of sheets etc. in the hallway which stayed there all evening. You just had to walk by and step around them. The whole place is in serious need of an upgrade. Front desk staff was nice on check in. It is close to the airport.

The location is great, close to the airport. The hotel itself is very tired and in desperate need of a major facelift. The staff do their best to keep it clean. The carpets need to go windows and doors need to be replaced and it needs paint desperately. The staff was friendly, helpful and went out of their way to to make us comfortable.

So… they just got a new computer system 3 hours before we checked in and between front desk person not knowing system and system glitches it took FOREVER to check in and checking out was a nightmare, almost missed my shuttle to airport
