Maxhotel Amsterdam Airport Schiphol

The room was nice considering it was really small and compact, however, they put me right next to the main door and the elevator so it was so noisy of people coming through and calling for the elevator. Which didn’t help as I had to get up at 4am for my flight. I told the group of girls that arrived after midnight to keep the noise down as they kept talking loudly and walking up and down like it was midday and they said sorry but just continued. I told the guy at the desk to tell people when they arrive to be quiet which he said he would but lied as the next people that walked through the door as I got back into bed were loud. Then to make matters worse someone was smoking cigarettes and the smell was seeping through to my room (despite the windows being closed) which I mentioned to the receptionist and nothing was done about and I hate the smell so it felt like I could barely breathe. I even tried to sleep at the bottom of the bed away from the windows but it didn’t make much of a difference. I love staying in hotels but this place was the worse stay I’ve had

Easy check in. We needed a quick stay to wait for our flight. The only real issue was the AC. It's not really strong so it was a bit hot during sleep. But it seems to be an issue across all hotels in Europe

The first room we had was dirty. They switched us to a clean and renovated room which was much nicer. The hotel is next to McDonald’s and right next to the bus stop to take you to the airport.

Was clean, nice sized for Europe and overall pleasant. Bummer is Hotels.com lists this hotel as having an airport transfer and that is not correct. Though it is very close to the bus line which was the easiest way to get to Schiphol airport. Only place to eat in the vicinity is a McDonalds so that was also a bit annoying, we ended up having Dominoes deliver and it was actually quite good.

Good hotel close to airport. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room was clean, we had room for 5 and was ok for a night. No kettle in room but there is a machine that serves hot drinks at reception as well as snacks.

Very nice hotel near Schihpol airport, with easy transportation to downtown Amsterdam. Nice clean functional rooms with all the necessities and friendly and helpful staff.

Simple cute room with convenience of being walking distance to the bus station and a McDonalds. The airport is very close for convenience

host spoke french english dutch and spanish , amazing kind and willing to explain everything about transportation , which i really appreciate in a foreign country , i can’t remember his name sadly overall very nice stay near the airport and the bus station , mcdonald’s is a 3 min walk away

Super convient for the airport and a direct bus connection to Amsterdam Arena. The surroundings are otherwise pretty industrial. The room was good for two people. A minor issue was communicated to the personnel after check out and they promised to look into it immediately. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Just a side note; the proximity to the airport and major street makes for a noisy environment. No problem but bring earplugs.

It was ok but the reviews made it look much better than it was. Staff was wonderful but overall a little grimy. Ok for a cheap place near the airport but don’t expect a great hotel!
