The property is in a very dodgy area, we could not sleep due to noise outside, heavy partying, loud music & young ones running a muck across the road at the park at 3am. The pillowcases & sheets seem like they hadn’t been washed, the rooms smell like body odour, the cleanliness level of the entire place was a 3/10 for us. Portable Air con unit, with pipe outside the window. For the price we paid, I definitely felt like it was overpriced for what we got. Elevator was playing up when we arrived, so we walked 10 flights of stairs to our room with our suitcases. I definitely would not stay here again with my children. Exception - the reception staff was helpful & kind.

On the 8th floor the view over South Auckland was stupendous. Its downhill from there. No hairdryer. Not a single coat hanger so why bother giving you wardrobes? We asked reception. Nope there were none. No sink plugs so water wastage. Finally the traveler shares the building with the homeless and socially deprived. Hence strewn fish and chip papers were all over the entrance and car park...and security of vehicles can be challenging. New Zealand has adopted this housing policy and post covid hospitality owners have glady took it. Now the genuine traveler has to put up with it. We were booked to go back here next week but we cancelled. Not worth the money.

Beds were comfortable. Towels were smelly and ripped/frayed. Half patched up holes in walls. Awful water pressure in shower. Super friendly staff after being overcharged. Parking was easy, right outside building. Downfall, a lot of undesirable people in area and obviously living there. Got into lift with some of them, clearly obvious they were carrying a lot of marijuana. Was terrible. Very noisy at night being on a flight path.

Felt so unsafe. Noisy. Undesirable people loitering around entrance and hallways. No secure parking. Didn’t have my cot request on booking so asked to pay extra $10 for dirty stained cot that we would have to lug up to room and set up ourselves. Went up to room, beds looked dirty, hallway light pouring into bedroom window, hear doors slamming, only heat/cooling were dirty portables in corner. We walked straight out and returned the key. Got our $10 back for cot but as room was non-refundable we just walked out and booked elsewhere. No way my family was going to be sleeping there.

This property is centrally located- thats the good bit. It was dilapidated, poorly cleaned, one elevator was broken, there were vagrants hanging around the parking lot.

Not a place to take a family or not recommend for a woman or elderly person travelling on own

Stayed for 5-nights. Location is amazing and close to public transport and shopping centre. The reception was in a weird area that took me some time to find and once we did there was no receptionist on arrival but they were quick to arrive once we buzzed in. The room is exactly how it looked in the photos but cleanliness was an issue and we asked to be moved in to another room. The receptionist was really good with this request and moved us in to a room that we had no issues with. The rooms were quite hot and although they provided a cooling unit it was loud when switched on. We did pay for parking at the hotel as there is no free parking close by due to the shopping mall and surrounding businesses having time limits and active parking wardens. Parking was right outside the hotel but at the back where access to hotel is only via stairs. Ramp access is in the front so we had to drop off our parents in the front then go away to park car.

It was an great please to stay, accessible to lots of shops, affordable, clean and tidy. Was awesome to have the easy option of express checkout especially because we had an early flight.

good location and close to airport. Too many people hanging downstairs and feels insecure sometimes. in one instance, was asked if i had 1000 dollars while waiting for lift. hotel staff were excellent and provided secure parking upon request.

Despicable that you advertise this beautiful apartment hotels without disclosing they’re used as emergency housing. The rooms are not as they seem online. There was cigarette ash on my window sills. There’s hair, dust and lubricant through the bathroom. There’s no aircon and no windows in the bedrooms, the beds are 80s spring filled nightmares. And the unsavoury people hanging around banging on the door asking to be let in after hours, stragglers roaming the carpark a doing drug deals and people sitting in there cars in the carpark smoking weed with their kids inside. Women yelling BABY to shut the f up. Broken glass all through the carpark. The sheets and towels were dirty and stained and my skill CRAWLED after laying on the couch. The floors were stained with brown smears that straight up looked like faeces. And then if that wasn’t enough.. a fire drill from someone smoking in the building went off. I had to lug two small children down 10 flights of stairs only to smell that the alarm was triggered at the 5th flight by someone smoking marijuana. I’m embarrassed that I didn’t March my family out of there immediately within the first hour of arriving. You can bet your ass we didn’t stay the second night, and will never stay again. Disgusting.
