The room was not convenient for us because I experienced bug bites in my arms during our first night. And it was horrible. I did complain about it and they just transferred me to another room. This worst experience with my boyfriend was so unforgettable because it was our first time together and this is what I've got. We will not come back to this hotel.

An enjoyable stay. We were unaware of the $200 cash bond required, but were prepared to pay. Great food and friendly staff. Carparking was very difficult to get and out of at the top especially when the carpark was full.

I travel to NZ fortnightly and have never had such a bad experience.
Just dont...
You can find better all over Auckland for the same price.

My family and I stayed at The Mount Richmond Hotel for 2 nights as we began our travels around New Zealand just outside of Auckland.
Located 25mins from the Airport, it’s a family orientated hotel that offers a relaxing environment.
For those without a car, the hotel is only 600m from the nearest bus stop and links directly to the train station; which offers an easy and stress-free trip to the city centre of Auckland.

Had a blast here.
Was only here for a quick 2 nights and the staff were super friendly and everything was clean and spacious.
The cookies and ceeam chessecake was heavenly too!
Is close to Syliva Park and airport for plenty to do too, cant fault it :)

Staff were very accommodating, rooms were clean and comfy 😊
Parking was a bit of a squeeze, however on street parking was available. Would happily stay again

I want to give a 5 star to the girls work on restaurants at Sunday night they are so good customer services my partner and I are so happy with their service and for the reception in the Monday was so disappointed even I got late to my flight was asking for another night she look down and said no and said its fully book We both don’t like the reception

We chose this hotel as it was the airport side of the town and were were not looking for a central location.Also after a long flight we needed somewhere convenient.It was well equipped,comfortable,without being flashy and it was very reasonably priced.Continental breakfast was overpriced for what it was and I suppose we were making comparisons with what we would have got in Europe.It did appear that motel breakfasts were similiar throughout our travels and consequently we did our own.

Friendly helpful staff, Rooms are great value. Meals are very good. Gym could open earlier than 8 as most people I know who use a gym whilst traveling are up early and on the road by 8. Still a great hotel and I will be staying often.
