Comfy hotel - good for biz travel

There were no instructions for things in the room there was no human interaction and to use the TV you had to have an account with one of the steaming services so basically no TV the person looking after the place over the weekend had to do everything even the free water fountain produced hot water from the cold tap after 30 years travelling around the world this was the worst I have ever stayed in

Room was ok, very small window. Very confusing on arrival: you enter from the street into a small lobby, with signs that tell you Reception is on LG, and a self-check in terminal but no instructions saying if everyone has to use it or if it is only for out of hours. Elevator only goes up. No stairs. How do you get to Lower Ground? I went back outside and pushed the call button for the manager twice but both times instead of getting a human, the door was just unlocked again. In desperation, I went into the bar that adjoins the small lobby and only then did I spot the small sign under their cash register that says ' Reception' (no reference to Microtel or Wyndham). So the woman standing there had been able to see me going in and out with my suitcase but hadn't called out or anything. Definitely needs a big sign telling you how to check in because street level is not LG.

Convenient to get to from airport

It was clean and modern. Very small but great for two people just needing somewhere to stay for the night. Also really clever use of space in the room. Walkable and parking available. The small size was reflected in the small price will definitely stay again.

It is a microtel so the very small room was not a great surprise. Not much room for luggage. Bathroom very compact but shower was good. We were right beside the parking garage but engine noises were very muted and of no concern. Do not like the TV streaming system as we don’t have access to that. The bed was very comfortable but wedged in on 3 sides.

We did not like anything about the hotel room was cold and no heater and one chair for 2 people and room was needed a good dusting the second night there were no tea bags spoke to the manager on juty and he was not very helpful the cost for the Hotel was A jock. We have traveled around the world and it is worst hotel we have been in from Jean Blacklaw

This Hotel appears to have been built out of a converted multi story car park. It's clean, very compact - no windows in the rooms but we knew that on booking. The car parking once again met low standards with very limited and overpriced customer gouging. Gets a 1 star on my Parking score. The soap dispenser fell off the wall when I went to use the shower. Otherwise This place was Ok it has a bar and small restaurant to purchase breakfast from.

The lady in reception the night of my arrival coped with my meltdown in Chch airport and made my late arrival seamless!! She was so professional and calm. Clean comfortable room

You needed your key card to enter the front door, so arrival was odd. Drop off was also weird until you got your assigned parking spot. Rooms did not have TV, you had to stream from your device and apps did not work internationally.
