Hotel is well positioned to walk to most areas of interest to tourists in 10 minutes. The cable car area is a little further away, but still walkable. The room was clean and spacious and had a small fridge and a kettle with various teas, coffee, and hot chocolate. The shower is purposely made without a door, so some water does fall outside, just put a towel at the shower exit to solve this problem. Parking in the hotel covered lot is interesting, to say the least, the spaces are super tight, as is the parking structure itself. Parking and driving in downtown Wellington is an adventure as the streets are very narrow and parking is difficult to find. Breakfast is very good, and was included for my stay.

The parking situation is not adequately described - the spaces are VERY small and we were told we couldn't park there due to the size of our rental car (a standard SUV, on the smaller side). This was not explained in the amenity description. Terrible instructions were provided by Arif at the front desk to find street parking, and it took nearly an hour to find a available paid parking nearby. It wasn't until after we finally parked that Arif through to provide a map with the parking location... We were told that our parking would be reimbursed but the next morning when we expressed our frustration, we were told that the information online said parking was "subject to availability" and we weren't going to be reimbursed. While there, another patron's car was damaged while attempting to park in the lot. We will never return to this hotel or suggest it to anyone else. The online information needs to be updated to show how limited the parking situation actually is.

The question regarding parking does not allow for all issues I have answered
NONE as in the search when looking for accommodation it clearly stated that as a gold member I was to get free parking on arrival I was told that parking would be $25.00 per night . Then I was told that none was available and that I can park in the Public Carpark down the road I think Hotels need to make sure their information is correct

This is the second time I’ve stayed at this property and it’s super tidy and clean. The only awkward situation was the parking - we had someone take our park and because we were in a larger vehicle it made it a little difficult. We were just assigned another parking spot but it was harder to park there than our original assigned parking spot. The staff were super lovely though and our room was a good size.

We were on an overnight business trip. The hotel is convenient to our meetings. Reception was always busy. Did not receive any VIP benefits. Maybe the check in person was too busy dealing with multiple queries from travellers. Hotel is a bit dated, but comfortable and value for money. Breakfast was good.

Clean room. Nice staff. The absolute worst parking garage I have ever used. Exceedingly narrow - and we had a small vehicle - parking spots. Each turn around a corner required multiple attempts of turning wheel and reversing, driving forward, turning wheel again, reversing again, and so on.

The hotel was fully booked so the staff were very busy. Not their fault but things took a little time. The car park is terrible - appreciate that parking in the CBD is a huge advantage but it is close to impossible to manoeuvre - I would not be surprised if a lot of cars get damaged. The restaurant however is excellent and a big plus.

Was a great stay as usual. Interior room had no lights but made getting to bed early easy.
Carparking is a tight squeeze for a Toyota Aqua but not impossible.

When making a reservation be sure to book a parking space in their garage. When we arrived, they didn’t have any spaces left for our midsize SUV, and we had to park in a public car park that was very tight and almost full.

This location is very good in terms of walk ability to waterfront and shops, but there are a number of homeless people in the general area. However, we did not feel threatened by that in any way.
The room was clean, and comfortable.
The parking was a stressful experience because it is very tight when turning up and down the ramps, but we managed.
The breakfast buffet was top notch and the staff at reception were extremely accommodating.
I recommend this place.
