3HB Faro

Stayed for 2 nights before heading further into Algarve. Great location for visiting the city. Lovely room & roof top pool though water was too cold to swim in comfortably. Loved rooftop bar for evening drinks looking over city and seeing the planes fly over head. The lack of flexibility on room check in time was disappointing. Having had a 4am start and arrived in Faro at 9am it would have been nice to have been able to check in to our room a little earlier than 2.30pm, particularly given we noted it on reservation request…whilst appreciating hotel may be full and rooms need cleaning there didn’t feel like there was any prioritisation and more effort could have been made.

Wonderful location although no hotel parking. We took a cab to the hotel and then everything is within easy walking distance. Room design is very crisp and modern but not stark. Bed was super comfortable and the bathroom was well laid out with high quality fixtures. Roof top bar has a great view of the old town and the harbour and the hotel restaurant on the top floor is amazing with a wonderful selection of Portuguese dishes. We have stayed here before and will again when we next visit Faro.

This hotel is exceptional! The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. The rooms are gorgeous and immaculate. Parking is off-site since it’s a pedestrian zone, but staff will help you get to/from the parking easily.

Honestly, beautiful and the staff were so lovely. Ideal location in the centre of Faro €8 Uber from airport.

Staff were friendly, polite & very professional. Room was excellent with really comfortable beds. Housekeeping was perfect. Breakfast couldn’t have been better. Rooftop pool area wonderful, especially if you’re a plane spotter. Very close to Faro airport. Strolling around Faro & it’s pretty little shops are on the doorstep. Highly recommended.

The hotel and staff were fantastic. We arrived very early for checkin, they allowed us a changing space to get changed for us to explore while they readied our room. We were shown to our room once available by a member of staff, who talked us through the use of the room and electronic buttons available etc. We felt very looked after, and we had only just arrived. When you first arrive at the hotel on the Main Street, you don’t realise how much of a mini oasis it is, until you turn the corner and see this lovely hotel facing in front of you. Even though it is situated right in the heart of Faro streets, you don’t even realise it once you’re at the hotel. It’s so quiet and ‘in its own space’. The staff were so lovely and helpful, the cleanliness was definitely a 5 star rating. Concierge was great, helped us book most of our activities for the trip. We have already recommended this hotel to friends and family if they are travelling to Faro. If we go to Faro again we will surely be staying here.

Booked 3 rooms for a family reunion and it was a wonderful stay for all. The rooms are exquisitely contemporary and so stylish. Very comfortable beds and Molton Brown toiletries such a classy touch. The complimentary breakfast was epic. So much variety of food on the buffet plus the ability to order pancakes and eggs Benedict it was amazing. We loved the roof top pool and the restaurant white wine sangria immensely. Didn’t eat in the restaurants for dinner but they have great variety of food styles. The only inconvenience was the parking . Street parking is hard to find and parking garage is hard to find but they will guide you and pick you up from garage in their oversized golf carts . The difficulty of the hotel location being in downtown Faro where parking was not part of the infrastructure way back when the city was founded because there were no cars back then. A difficulty experienced in all historical cities in Portugal which can be viewed as charming by others such as myself that love history and old world flair. Loved your hotel and will be back when I go back to visit my family from Southern California. Muito obrigado por uma estadia muito confortável e bonita.

I loved this property, great location. The staff are acceptional who made me feel so welcome as a single female traveller. Every staff member was helpful about the places to eat, shop and sightseeing, My experience was AMAZING. I will be going back again and again.

The rooms were good sized, we loved the seating area and the throw blankets. The breakfast buffet was incredible and well worth the price. The birthday card and dessert was a personal touch and much appreciated. We will return and seek out other 3HB properties on our travels.

Beautiful hotel. Lovely rooms and the location couldn’t be more convenient. Reception staff were excellent. Restaurant staff less so - as a female solo traveller I was largely ignored and had to fight for service. Not cool, 3HB!
