Hotel Sol Algarve by Kavia

The hotel was in a perfect location for our early flight from Faro airport.

Property is located at a very busy traffic intersection with constant vehicle beeping and human voices that continue well into the morning hours. The room was clean but bed was very uncomfortable. Most of the personnel were friendly, except for one guy named Nuno who was obnoxios despite having a smile on his face. We reserved two nights and stayed only one. They have 7 car garage and offer a parking at 7.50 a day. I initially paid for 2 days. My car was the only one in the garage. Since we left a day early i asked if we could be charged for 1 day and that was immediately refused. This is not a money discussion but an example of how desperate these people are.Definitely made a wrong choice by staying there. Avoid the place; you can do a lot better elsewhere.

The location of this hotel was convenient for the area with access to the old historic town area, the marina and shopping area. For a quick 2 day stay in Faro, this was what we needed to walk to everywhere for sight seeing. The marina and ferry were only a 10 minute walk, which made it great for us to catch the ferry to the best beaches Faro has to offer. Hotel is located a block from a lively, bar and restaurant area, which did present late night noise and activity. This was not an issue for us, since we participated in the late night activities, but may be an issue for other travelers ... just beware. Down side to this hotel is the small size of the rooms. As a couple who travel a lot, we expect small rooms in European cities, we managed but some may have an issue with this. Only other issue, was a water leaking from the wall air conditioner. We didn't complain, as our stay was short and we did not want to take the time to move into another room. Overall, this location was "OK" for us, but I'm sure others would have a much more negative perspective. The price was right for the accommodations, compared to other hotels in the area.

A very nice, very clean, modern interior property. Room had all basic amenities. Great location, only a short walk from marina and shops, cafe s and bars. Had underground parking at a price which can only be accessed by seeing reception first so very secure. Only a few spaces though so could be a problem if a lot of people had cars. Used this as an overnight stay after arriving at the airport and travelling onto holiday destination next day. Would recommend as reasonable value for money, very tidy, easily accessible from airport and pleasant staff. Definitely worth a try. We chose this as other reviews were very positive and they were not wrong.

The hotel is located about a 10 min walk from the marine with several dining options in the vicinity. The hotel provided very basic amenities in the room and no room service food options were available. Room size was also very small. The bathroom shower was un-adjustable and was varying from very hot to very cold on it's own. Very annoying. Also, no room safe was available to store our travel documents and valuables.

Lovely location in centre of town. Very convenient to shops restaurants bus/train station and airport. Bright and clean but rooms a bit small.

No free parking nearby. The rest was fine.

Big plus because it has parking.

Front desk staff were so friendly and helpful. The space was very clean and comfortable. I would stay there again, great location amd easy ride in an Uber to the airport or train station.

One night stay..My Niece was flying out early morning so we got 3 single beds . The shower attached to wall was broken ,and it was difficult to shower .We told front desk about it ,and he didn't really care .Parking on street is free
