Stay Hotel Faro Centro

Our flight to Faro was very delayed so we stayed a short night in Faro. Overall not bad but bathroom sink was plugged.

Had an amazing 3days stay. Nice clean hotel with very comfortable bed and air conditioning 👌 which is much needed. The hotel is a great spot with walking distance to the marine harbour, many restaurants and shops. And just 10min walk away from the bus and train terminal which with just €2.70 you can catch bus16 to airport which takes just 25min.

Very nice hotel, close by beaches, restaurants and shopping area. It's really hard to find parking in this area if you have car.

Great location, good price, exceptional staff. We stayed for two nights before flying home and the lady at the reception desk asked us how we had found the room, street noise and if she could do anything for us. We asked if we could get a coffee and she not only provided this in the breakfast area but showed us how to use the coffee machine and then made us two coffees. It's a small thing but I really meant a lot to us.

It's very good place I travel alone so I quiet night sleep top of my list.Its great position in the city handy for marina city centre, the only thing I didn't like was the shower over the bath.Now I explain as an arthritic over 70 I can't stand on one leg to climb over the bath tub as I would fall over so some grab rails would have helped, I know someone will tut tut but slipping up on wet tiles and spending the night on the wet floor, I said earlier I travel alone.Apart from that excellent place to stay and the staff very friendly so three wupps wup wup wup

Hotel has all that is required clean and is central to old town. It's close to a variety of local restaurants and many cafés were excellent value can be had. Close to train and bus terminal 10 minute walk.

The property was located close to the center. It was very easy to walk around and explore. There was a nice area for shopping just being the hotel. The only issue is parking. We drive down the block and found something easily but you need to make sure you keep an eye on the parking meter so have change handy.

Hotel os close to bus station train and airport, yet very central and within walking distance to the old town. Not being able to regulate the ac was a bit of a problem. It was either freezing cold or steamy hot. Not the dirtiest place I’ve been to but definitely not clean either. Breakfast was decent, staff was pleasing and helpful.

I really liked the fact that the property is close to the shops and thhe center of Faro city. The hotel hasn't got parking but there is a big free parking, only 10 minutes walk from the hotel.

The location is super convenient particularly when you have a Saba parking around the corner. The hotel gives you a discount and it is cheaper than buying the Saba multidia on the Saba website. The hotel lobby looks nice but once you take the elevator to the rooms you realize this place has seen better times. The room is dated, has no safe box, and no fridge. The carpet was stained and the overall cleaning was not the best. We brought two coffee mugs from the breakfast room and two days later they were still there. Our bathroom had mold around the shower that was disgusting. After we showered there was a leak on the floor. Ines from the reception brought us towels to dry the floor and moved us to a different room the following day. The bar is poorly stocked and a glass of red wine costs €5 which I found too much for that quality and compared to other places in the area. The receptionist Ines at the front desk was superb and she is the only reason why I am giving this hotel this rating because otherwise I would have given them a “1”. The reservation was non-refundable and it was high season in Portugal otherwise I would have left this hotel in a heartbeat. Save your money and avoid this place.
