Alameda Exclusive House

This place was awful, firstly, I had emailed 4 days prior my arrival to let the staff know that I would be arriving past midnight due to my flight. I was waiting outside the property and had no answer from the manager for an hour. Secondly, this hotel claims to have 24 hour front desk services however the manager is sleeping in the back or not in the building. Thirdly after asking for new towels, staff stated that this can only be provided after 3 days of check in which is disgusting, especially when the weather is so hot and doing water activities. Fourthly, house keeping do not change the bedsheets despite telling them three times. Another disappointment was the lack of toiletries, after requesting shampoo several times which was empty on our arrival, the staff still did not fill up the dispenser. The AC also was broken, the curtains do not close properly which resulted in us to wake up early every morning despite having a late night. The staff were uninterested in our concerns and dismissed us each time. AVOID THIS PLACE.

15 min from the airport, walking distance to their town centre, lots of dining options around the place.

Very spacious and modern designed hotel, with 24hr front desk which came in handy as our flight arrived late in the evening. Our bedroom (I think they might have kindly upgraded us to a double instead of two twins) had a massive bathroom attached and another living room with a pull-out bed that was flimsy (so we didn't use) and access to the massive patio where we befriended a local cat. There were plenty of towels and a waterfall showerhead. The tv didn't work properly, it kept cutting audio/video. They also didn't have an iron nor breakfast even though the ad and key card holder mentioned breakfast. We got this for only one night as we flew in to Faro and were headed to Lagos the next morning, the hotel was close to the airport.
