Neat Hotel Avenida

This is a basic hotel. We just needed one night closernto the airport so it met our needs and price matches what you get. Not great, but not bad either.

Nice hotel for the price, Breakfast was not included but many options just outside in the town. No parking for my rental car so I paid about 14 Euros per day at the underground just up the road. Bed was small.

Overall was good for one night stay for early flight. The hotel rooms not as portrayed in pictures and need upgrade. Check in was ok but service could have been friendlier and more informative. Housekeeping staff were fabulous!!

I had asked the front desk if they could give me a price for early check in without the breakfast, the answer was NO. No flexability on the front desk part even though I know as a frequent traveller there is ALWAYS room for flexability if the hotel is not fully booked. I get that they wanted to make maximum amount of money, but I find it really POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE when I know the hotel was not full. I will never ever stay here again and your customer service agent just ignored me. I asked her twice, I'm diabetic have medical conditions and found the service to be not up to par of your other hotels, I've stayed at the Marina Atlantico. Yes, you pay more money but still the service should be the same. Very disappointed. Jenny

This hotel is well situated in Ponta Delgada, within easy walking distance of shops, bars, and restaurants. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff is friendly and helpful. One thing to consider if you’re renting a car is that the hotel doesn’t provide parking. However, we managed to find inexpensive street parking nearby with no problem.

Located in the center of the downtown area, great location that was close to restaurants, taxi stand outside, etc. The hotel itself could prob use a little renovation (no mini fridge, our bathroom door frame was warped, overall a little bit dated). Staff was polite and helpful

I did not spend one night at this hotel. United Airline canceled my flights while I was at the airport ready to go on my vacation. Neat hotel/Expedia charged for 2 nights for each room because I did not cancel within 72 hours, when the airline did not give me not even 24 hours.

Was only here one day before my flight out. Staff were friendly, helpful, and accommodating.

Excellent option as a base while in São Miguel. There is free parking in two public lots a few blocks away. Although public, there was always a spot. The hotel is a block away from the restaurants in the Central area, which is great. Half a block from the marina main road. Great and plentiful breakfast but you may consider going more local if you are staying multiple days.
