NINE DOTS Azorean Art Boutique Hotel

Beautiful, simple & elegant! Loved hotel & the staff were terrific! They couldn’t have been more pleasant & helpful. Restaurant & bar were great too. Hotel is on a street closed to traffic which was nice for noise etc but made it difficult to find. Also there is no parking. There was a garage nearby that was convenient, it would have been helpful if hotel informed us of the garage’s address prior to our arrival. But would definitely stay here again & highly recommend it.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay for 3 nights at NINE DOTS as we explored Sao Miguel. A newly renovated space means everything is clean and works as expected. Loved the high ceilings and wide hallways and room was also spacious and clean. Staff was helpful when looking for dinner ideas and finding a more cost-effective parking option. The Spa pool was perfect - warm, relaxing, inspired design. Would certainly stay here again.

Honeymoon We had the honor of being the first guests at the hotel and spending our honeymoon there. We were picked up at the airport by the manager and taken to the hotel. I have NEVER seen such a hotel emerge out of nowhere and immediately surpass all the hotels on the island. The attention to detail is stunning. The decor throughout the hotel is exquisite and of very high quality. The room is wonderfully quiet, and every day there was a fresh and clean room with fresh fruits and new drinks. EVERY request was like a command to the hotel. The staff is absolutely friendly and accommodating. Every smallest question was professionally answered immediately. I have rarely seen such friendly, professional, and at the same time unobtrusive staff. The breakfast was delicious every day. The kitchen fulfilled every wish. You were always warmly welcomed to eat. The staff remembered our preferences and paid attention to every small detail, tailoring everything to us. The wellness area is very clean and very relaxing. Incredibly great pool, and the Turkish bath is very good. The hotel's own bar is also the best bar on the entire island. Even on the day of departure, there was a packed lunch. It's not a pompous hotel. It's a quiet luxury that no hotel on the island can replicate. This elegance, in the middle of the Atlantic, is worth every penny.
