Courtyard by Marriott Isla Verde Beach Resort

Second time here, they are doing renovations/remodel right now. Don’t think it’s worth the price and a resort fee and if you have a car plus parking. There was no noticed on the website or hotels.com that renovations where going on. Would have stayed somewhere else if I would have know that.

Very beautiful resort, the dining and parking were very confusing as no one offered any directions. Check in wasn’t great as they didn’t have our room ready and took and extra 1.5hrs to get it ready. We did get to enjoy the resort while we waited. Would come back! The views are priceless

The staff was extremely nice and helpful. It was our fist time to PR and we choose taxi as transportation. The hotel always had a taxi ready within 5-15 min

The service was impeccable, people in customer service always had a smile and something nice to say. We had to stay in San Juan overnight due to flight cancellation and it was a great experience. That was our chance to relax while fixing botched flight arrangements. Thanks to the entire staff.

Comfortable bed and pillows. Clean sheets. The beach was dirty with trash. The swimming pool was constantly full with local neighbors. The front desk staff needs customer service training. They looked mad not friendly and rude. At check out the agent was more concerned about training her co worker that take care of me and listening what I was saying. The restaurant got our order wrong and on top of that very tiny servings. The coffee shops evening young staff not professional and rude. Be ready to pay $25 for parking every night.

We had a great time! The property was nice, staff were friendly, and our room was clean and comfortable! When you arrive, take an Uber to the hotel, not a taxi. Taxi ride to the hotel was $20. Uber ride from the hotel to the airport was $5.80. Lesson learned!

Everything was good until parking was $50 a day on top of my stay. Yes surprised not good! Otherwise it would had been a 5 star

The stay was excellent, and the balcony view was mesmerizing. I recommend staying at this hotel. It has a casino and a couple of restaurants. The staff is friendly and super helpful. The pool is open 24/7, and beach umbrellas and chairs are available to make your stay much more comfortable. I stayed facing the ocean (airplane noise was nonexistent; I saw a lot of them fly in and out but didn't hear loud noises)

I was impressed that each morning a crew was on the beach picking up trash, so the beach was pristine each day. Overall the staff was terrific, a couple of the bartenders didn't crack a smile. Food was good, reasonably priced. Taxis were available at all times. I would definitely recommend the hotel to travelers.

I enjoyed the proximity from the airport, as well as the on premises facilities. Drawback is car is absolutely needed in the event you want to go to desirable locations. That said, I did have a car which did not factor into the equation, but the surrounding things to do were at minimum 25 minute drive. for example, old San Juan. That said, the rainforest was 50 minute drive, the bioluminescent experience was two hours away, unless you want to compromise with the Fajardo excursion, which was one hour away. The island is absolutely picturesque, so driving wasn’t awful, but with young children can be a little difficult. The restaurant at the hotel was spot on and Beach was calm enough to swim WITHOUT additional concerns for Turbulent conditions, which factors in at nearby beaches seen in Condado area. Being a coffee snob, I was disappointed with the coffee bar they had. But I did pack an aeropress with my own beans That I ground Onyx coffee with for iced coffee that allowed us to enjoy the oceanfront view with delicious Coffee from Onyx on the provided table and chairs set up on balcony.
