Overview

The Bullitt Hotel in Belfast is a stylish and well-regarded hotel, popular with both tourists and locals. Guests consistently praise the helpful and friendly staff, who go above and beyond to assist with requests. The rooms, while described as 'dinky' in some reviews, are well-appointed and comfortable, especially the larger rooms. The hotel also benefits from a great location, within walking distance of Belfast city centre and transport links, and has an onsite restaurant and bar with excellent food and cocktails. However, it's worth noting that the hotel itself does not offer parking and that noise from weekend events could impact sleep for light sleepers in rooms overlooking the courtyard. Breakfast is available, though some reviewers noted it could start earlier.

Fabulous hotel. Very hip even for the over 50's. The staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable Room was a great size (314) and the room facilities just what we needed after alot of travelling. Don't forget to check out the vinyl you can buy hanging on the walls

The place was convenient for us and they have a really wonderful team. The staff helped us call for taxi cabs and helped us with our luggage. The housekeeping also did a good job in cleaning our room. For improvement we'd like to recommend that their breakfast begin early. On the weekends they serve breakfast at 8am. That's a bit late in all the hotels we've stayed in. I asked their front desk staff 2 days before departure if the kitchen can make us sandwiches to go since we are leaving at 8am for a train to catch. No sandwich was given. We also hardly had any sleep the night before (April 20) there was a very loud party with thumping music way past midnight. My husband called and called the front desk to ask them to tone down but he never got a response.

We absolutely loved the Bullitt hotel! Funky vibes but very well managed and appointed hotel. All the staff were delightful. Clearly popular with locals too as the lobby was busy on the Monday and Tuesday with people popping in for a coffee or snacks. Have the pace a nice buzz. They are not lying when the say the Dinky rooms are best suited to solo travellers or short trips. We were staying for just one night (to attend a concert at the SSE Arena) and even though it is probably the smallest hotel room we’ve ever had it suited our needs perfectly. Good air con. Bed was very comfy and we had a great nights sleep. Definitely appreciated the 12 noon check out so we could have a very long lie in! Also appreciated the tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Decent size en-suite shower room with excellent lighting for doing make up. Location was great. Plenty places around to eat and drink although would say the hotel was among the best in the area for that. We had a great dinner in their Taylor and Clay steak/grill restaurant (Monday steak special recommended) and a good lunch in the lobby before heading back to the airport. Only 5 min walk to the Oxford Street and Custom House Square stops for the 600 bus from to city airport. Less than 15 min walk to the SSE Arena. Will definitely stay at the Bullitt again next time we are in Belfast.

We enjoyed our stay! From reception to dining, breakfast and dinner. Car park was close but would have preferred dropping bags at the hotel and then parking. It is not available as the hotel is on a pedestrian only street. Would highly recommend!

A very convenient place to stay, walking distance to everywhere. Parking is a problem as the hotel has no parking and the parking station charged us £88 for 1-1/2 days parking.

Service level not consistent, we had both good and bad experiences at the front desk. Walking distance to city center. Reasonable priced parking nearby. Fairly small and dark room. Ask for a room, which is not next to the lift!

The people at the front desk went above and beyond to help me find an accessible taxi. They also called the room to help me find places to eat. Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful.

Really nice staff, parking really close by. Room was great, decent mugs rather than tiny cups! Always a winner. I loved the breakfast concept - full fresh breakfast menu and just order and pay for what you want. Great selection. The aircon in the room was very welcome with the current heatwave

Booked Bullitt Hotel on the strength of its reviews and its cool image, and it exceeded all of the hype and expectations. It’s not cheap, but has a great vibe, and everything from the service at check-in to the coffee, the quality of the fittings in the rooms, the quality of the associated restaurants and bars; everything is top notch. The only slight negative from our perspective is that we had arrived in Belfast early on the Saturday morning after an early morning flight, so by the time we checked in at 3pm we’d already had a long day and fancied a quick nap. Unfortunately for us, the hotel was already in the party mood, so and our first floor room overlooking the courtyard was right amongst it. That’s less a negative reflection on the hotel and more a regret that as we move into our 30s we can’t keep going all day like we would’ve done not that long ago! Overall though, my wife and I had an awesome time and would heartily recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Belfast.

I booked this hotel stay as a birthday present for my mum, we stayed for two nights and I can hands down say it was one of the best hotels I have stayed at. The staff were so friendly, not just one or two of them but all of them. As a gift to my mum the hotel kindly gifted us with breakfast for one of our mornings which was amazing. I enjoyed a Sunday roast dinner and that was beautiful. Our room was a double comfy, it had everything needed and had lovely decor. The location is perfect for sight seeing or shopping as it is in the middle of both! It is a 40min drive from Belfast international airport which you can get to by an express bus a few minutes walk away. Cannot rate this hotel enough and we are already looking to book again for next year.
