Guests praise the cleanliness, spacious rooms, comfortable beds, and excellent rain shower. However, reviews are mixed regarding staff friendliness and helpfulness, and the lack of on-site parking (with discounted parking available across the street) is a common point of feedback.

Generally a great stay - clean, comfortable room and common areas. No noise travel. Comfortable beds. The staff were the only complaint - not very friendly or helpful. This was true of both reception and bar staff. Not what you expect when paying substantial money for the stay.

Awesome stay, the staff was phenomenal. I had some travel issues and had to extend a night and the front desk was super accomodating.

Not a nice hotel. No water in the room, we went down for food in the restaurant at 9:32pm to be told that the kitchen closed at 9:30pm. We were not told this at the reception when checking in. We asked reception for recommendations for some restaurants locally that would still be open and they did not know. Poor service, basic room, over priced, not a great location and overall just a bad experience. Also parking was not free and was across the road. The only good thing was the shower.

I've travelled quite a bit and have stayed in many 4 star hotels around the world. I was disappointed by this experience. Firstly, the welcome by the front of staff member was not very welcoming! I felt more like an inconvenient annoyace rather than a paying customer. Secondly, I had requested a disability access room; the check-in staff nember made absolutely no mention of this during the check-in procedure, therefore I assumed that my request had been facilitated. I was wrong in that assumption. The room was clean and spacious. There was a little refrigerator with two drinking glasses however, there was no bottled water provided! I have never stayed in a four star hotel before where complimentary bottled water wasn't provided. I also found the room to be pretty cold (Jan) and there were no extra blankets. Overall not worth the €220 paid for single occupancy.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the AC. The hotel is modern and well maintained throughout. The room size was generous and the view overlooking the river was lovely from our room. Loved the extras in the bathroom e.g. the vanity pack. The staff were friendly, the hotel was exceptionally quiet and there was no noise or disturbance in the morning by house keeping staff which one can appreciate. The discounted parking was a great plus. Only negatives is that there is no socket nearby a mirror in the room so if you’re like me and need a mirror whilst getting ready/doing your hair it’s tricky. A floor lamp would be a great addition to the room also.

Yere staff are a complete let down, they try to avoid contact as much as possoble with the customers. They are not very friendly or helpful. Also the parking is a joke as we had to pay 22 pounds and that was discounted!! My husband ordered a blue steak whick arrived out medium rare. He ordered a pint which he never got and no one apologised and the waiting time for dinner was over an hour from when we ordered

Parking is available a short distance across the street in a separate parking garage. Parking fees were reduced by hotel staff. The walk at night after parking late was somewhat scary though. No security and very few others waking in the area.
