Stayed here a few times with varied success due to mattresses being very uncomfortable but this stay was perfect - room and bed was great and food especially the breakfast always exceptional. Love how easy parking is in comparison to other hotels in Newcastle.

Beautiful place to stay. Really peaceful yet you're really close to the city centre, the airport and the bars and restaurants of Jesmond if that's what you want. The walk through the Dene is amazing and goes on for miles. All the staff were very helpful, and it was a lovely place to be for a few days.

We stayed for one night while traveling around Northern England and it was a nice place to stay. The room was small but the bathroom was spacious, comfortable bed and nice shower and were pleasantly surprised by the classical music playing in the room when we arrived. Our view was not very nice - the roof top next to a wall so couldn’t see anything you’d want to look at but since we were into there briefly it wasn’t a big deal. We didn’t know much about the area when looking for places to stay and after exploring the city we wished we had opted to book in an area that was more quaint and charming (like in Durham nearby) but we’re glad that we did end up in the nicer area of the city with this hotel instead of directly downtown. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this location to anyone needed to be in this city but would recommend asking for a room with a nicer view.

Great location, ease of parking and front of house staff. Generally could do with a refresh. F&B offering is really poor, not enough staff, not well trained enough, unbelievably slow. Walk out to Osbourne Road to avoid disappointment
