Overall the property is fine. It sits high on a hill so it’s a treacherous walk to get off property but the views are great. Some days they offer onsite entertainment which is cool. You will need to take an expensive taxi ride if you want to go to the beach and don’t have a car. We didn’t hate it here and I would stay again if I had to. Just that walk up and down the hill is INSANE!!

I didn’t like the fact that I arrived at 10am and I wasn’t able to check in until 4pm coming off of a long flight most resorts & hotels will let you check in early but not in St Thomas. Most of the staff were very kind. The room was nice & clean. The power went out at least twice a day not sure what that’s about. I also didn’t care for the cats hanging around the place I’m very allergic so I kept sneezing & broke out into hives. Other than that I had a great time.

I am a travel agent and I would say that I had no complaints at all. The service desk guy was great and the room was clean and had everthing we needed inside. Our view was spectacular. It had everything there that we needed on days we didnt want to venture out. I would definitely recommend and I plan on returning. Thank you Castle at Bluebeard

This is a cute hotel in Charlotte Amalie. The location is close to Shopping and restaurants including Yacht Haven, it’s about 15 minutes to the airport, and easy to drive to especially if you reserved a car.

Hotel is not very handicap friendly. The lift from 1st level did not work, even though I reported it, so no access to restaurant on 2nd level and could not get to pool on 3rd level. However, the employees that greeted us when we arrived were very helpful with our luggage and assistance to take them to the room, getting us taxi's to go places and return back to hotel.

An amazing stay in the islands me and my girlfriend had an fantastic time and didn’t want to come back the property has accessible parking which is big in st Thomas, the food was awesome, hotel staff, the food, the history everything was excellent 10/10 would come back

Stayed for the first time at Blue Beards. Over all it was really nice. The room was really nice, the staff at front was nice. The on-site hotel restaurant was good.. nothing is really “walkable” as the roads just aren’t built for that. Taxi is a must to get anywhere. Taking a taxi every where gets really expensive though. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

The property is high up on a hill so you need a taxi to get to outside restaurants or any beaches. However, the views are incredible, the rooms very modern and clean, and there’s always taxis ready to bring you anywhere you want. Additionally the food is surprisingly very good for an island hotel. Not a single thing on the menu that I did not strongly enjoy.

It was newly refurbished with great temperature control. An elevator would be nice. I had a bunch of luggage and several flights of narrow stairs. Had help but—-

Great location. Rooms are updated. Quiet and easy parking. The primary downside is that it is not walkable to nearby locations.
