Overview

The Pink Palm Hotel, an adults-only boutique hotel in St. Thomas, is praised for its stylish accommodations, exceptional staff service, and beautiful aesthetic. Guests particularly appreciate the warm and friendly service, including assistance with luggage and transportation. The complimentary breakfast, though simple, is a welcome addition. However, potential guests should be aware of the hotel's location on a steep hill, requiring a climb up numerous steps, and the potential difficulty in accessing the property via taxi. Some guests also mention limited food options and inconsistent hot water.

The place was nice but It was hectic going in and out of the hotel. Pool was extremely small. Room was much smaller than I expected since I booked specifically based on pictures online. No elevator so be aware there’s a hill you have to walk up because taxis won’t take you to the door and a million steps once you get in.

Hospitality was amazing; staff was very friendly and accommodating especially Jessie. The room was cute, but small. It is challenging getting to the property. The taxis will not take you to the door and the street is very steep. Carrying luggage to the door is a task. I wanted to love the hotel but water kept seeping through the floor of our room and everything on the floor was sopping wet and not just a little. We tried to speak to the manager, but they were not in. The receptionist said the manager would reach out to us, but never did. The room situation is unacceptable for the price we paid for it.

This was a beautiful hotel, great staff. However, TERRIBLE location, no taxi wanted to go up the mountain. so be prepared to walk up steep hill. Also food was great but limited-time. Could not request what you wanted to eat only what they had on the menu.

After sitting on the plane on the tarmac for nearly three hours, our St Thomas - Miami American Airlines flight was canceled late last night. The majority of passengers on the full flight were scrambling to find accommodation and luckily we managed to get a booking at the Pink Palm Hotel in Charlotte Amalie’s historical district. At around 9:15PM we arrived drenched from the torrential rain, absolutely exhausted. Oh my goodness, what incredible service we received from the fabulous Team at the Pink Palm. They went beyond the call of duty organising a delicious dinner even though the kitchen was closing, sorting out a taxi for our early morning departure, helping with another hotel booking that needed to be cancelled, quickly making breakfast for us to take to the airport the next morning (even putting our take-out in our bedroom fridge while we were at dinner), and then following up this morning with all that had been organised the previous night for our early exit. The service and attention to detail we received from this friendly boutique hotel is the best we’ve ever received. Thank you Pink Palm Team for helping make our potentially awful evening into such a fun, memorable one. We highly recommend this happy, stylish boutique hotel.

This property is gorgeous! Staff was very helpful and kind. Helped with taxi services and the complimentary breakfast (although very simple) was a nice touch each morning. The views are amazing here and the pool was very clean. The hot tub was not hot, however, and had a weird smell so we avoided that area. The property is situated high up so there are a lot of steps - definitely not meant for those who aren't open to leg day every day. We would absolutely book here again!

If you bring a car, don’t stay here. the parking is miserable. a local told me that the parking is on a one-way street so you have to back up the hill for four blocks. I also got a flat tire while I was doing this. If you take a cab the places fine because they drop you at a different door.

The hotel is nice enough, but it is grossly overpriced for what it is. In addition to the $600 a night room rate, they tack on a hidden “Resort Fee” of $40 a night to cover various things including breakfast. The breakfast arrives at 8:45 whether you are ready or not, accompanied by banging on the door. You have no choice about when it arrives. And the breakfast was disgusting. Lukewarm coffee served in paper cups, a limp, greasy croissant stuffed with something unspeakable and one small cup of mushy diced fruit to share between two people. The rooms are nothing special. The bathroom was small and inconvenient. No counter space beside the sink, so no place to put toiletries. The TV has no service, so you have to use your own streaming service. The place bills itself as “Adults Only”, but one couple arrived at the pool with a large dog. I like dogs, but I thought it was odd that, while I could not bring my children, others were allowed to bring their dog. People who have any difficulty at all with stairs should definitely avoid this place. There are stairs everywhere. Lots of them. You have to go up and down multiple flights of stairs to get to the pool, reception, the restaurant, etc. If you like to pay top dollar for OK accommodation, lousy service and revolting food, then I highly recommend the Pink Palm Hotel! If not, you can find much better value for money elsewhere.

The property is beautiful!!!!! The rooms, the pool area, the dining area is very pretty. However here are things that could be improved: consider adding round trip transportation to and from the airport, if not somehow make transportation aware of the BACK drop off spot which has no stairs unlike the front; also there needs to be bottled water in the room(free of charge) what is the fridge for? It was very inconvenient to wake up dying of thirst and have to get dressed to go down to the pool to get water from the dispenser that had been sitting there all night; and the breakfast boxes, they are cute and all but there could be improvement on what goes in them..some days we didn’t even get a half cup of coffee, it was never full.

An oasis of luxury. Beautiful to the eye and very comfortable rooms. Love the check in texts, availability of breakfast, lunch, and dinner on site. Free street parking. I would 100% stay here again.
