Hilltop Villas at Bluebeard's Castle by Capital Vacations

We were only there for one night due to a Spirit flight cancellation (surprise surprise). From the woman and check in to the bell hop and waiter at the restaurant, everyone was so kind and accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable and the grounds were so nice. I am very thankful this is the hotel we chose to stay in for the night.

My stay at Hilltop Villas at Bluebeard's Castle in St. Thomas, USVI was excellent. The property offers luxury, comfort, and convenience. There was an error with checking in due to Expedia overbooking me when the property no longer had availability but the staff were able to rectify the issue and make space. **Cleanliness: Excellent** Impeccably clean rooms and common areas. **Communication: Excellent** Responsive and helpful hosts. **Property Condition: Excellent** Everything was in perfect working order. **Area Around the Property: Excellent** Steep hills made walking challenging, but taxis were easily accessible. **Highlights:** - Safe and quiet environment - Great shopping and dining options - Easy transportation access - Rich local culture - Nearby grocery stores and ample parking - Outstanding customer service - Well-maintained amenities - Beautiful landscaping and views - Fully equipped kitchen with free laundry service - Large property with walkable grounds and bellhop service - Modern, beautifully decorated room with a large balcony and breathtaking views of the harbor, marina, mountains, and downtown - Pool, jacuzzi, and rooftop restaurant with spectacular views - Presence of street cats and chickens adding to the local culture and vibrancy Overall, I highly recommend Hilltop Villas at Bluebeard's Castle by Capital V for a serene and convenient vacation rental in St. Thomas, USVI.

Since the city is hilly and the property is on a steep hill, having a car or using taxis is necessary.

Shaun Saunders the hotel clerk was super awesome and amazing. His staff and security helped everyone out when needed a taxi or location suggestions. Recommend 10/10 for anyone coming to St. Thomas for their first visit

My mom and I stayed here for about 4 nights and absolutely loved everything about it. The view from our villa was amazing, room was clean when we checked in. We did not rent a car so our form of transportation was taxis and the front desk would call one for us every time we needed it. Only thing is that we could not change the thermostat and it was freezing! Front desk handed us a paper with things to do and what to expect so definitely would recommend on staying here. It was about a 6 min drive to downtown and it’s relatively close to the airport. the beaches were about 15-20 mins away, we enjoyed it!

Great property overall, well maintained, there is free parking, and while we were there we were always able to find parking spot. Room was clean and pretty big, we liked that there is a full kitchen as well. Down side is that there is nothing in walking distance. You can call taxi. If you are renting car, be sure that anywhere you go in St Thomas you will have issues with parking as it’s almost non existent.

Only 1 restaurant on the property, close to active downtown and cruise port, taxis readily available

I love the prompt taxi services, the views, the on call maintenance when there was problems.

The facility is very nice. Room was great and had a wonderful view. And there's an amazing view from the pool area. I don't know if they have any rooms with 2 beds though- so limiting if travelling with a family. There's a bed and a pull out couch. I emailed the property through expedia about 10 days prior to arrival and never heard back. The front desk staff were generally pretty grumpy. It is not a particularly walkable area at all- so lots of taxi rides - but I think that is the norm for the island and not unique to this facility.

Everything was amazing, the only negative was portions of the hotel still ruined from the hurricane were pretty noticeable and being up the hill made it tricky to get a taxi sometimes.
