Awesome view to the Havensight bay area from the balconies. Plenty of free parking spaces. Good restaurant on property. Clean, spacious rooms with everything you would need. No housekeeping though (you have to leave sheets/towels outside to have them changed). Would return!!

Nice average place to stay that’s cost effective. I’d stay there again if traveling back to Saint Thomas.

First time in St Thomas, stayed at Pirate Mansion for 7 nights with my 11 years old boy. Let me advise some people. I owe es business and I hate to leave bad reviews but it’s not fair for us as a tourist to expend money and services is bad. When you get off from the airport get ready to wait for a taxi for about 1 hour, there is no Uber, no private taxi, when we finally arrived to the hotel the welcoming was terrible, the lady’s at the front desk were like they were boring, moody and hate their job. My room was in down in the hills, and then had to go down to the second floor, the doorman drove us and not even offered help with the luggage’s, still tipped him with $7.00. The room was all dirty, I went to the lobby and to let them know and showed them pictures and they didn’t care. I said okey, I am here let me try to make the best of this trip. You better be on shape because it’s a lot of walking, ups and down. Taxi are expensive, they charges by person, even if it’s a baby. You can’t walk because it takes you 30 minus to go anywhere by walking, by cars about 3-7 minutes. The taxi are not that nice but thanks God I found a good one - He is very respectful, on time and will take you anywhere. Best beaches, Lindquist beach omg 😍😍 the best beach ever - $7 dollar, you have to bring food and drinks, they have no restaurants, but it’s gorgeous, calm, clear , quiet- honeymoon beach, magen’s bay beach - avoid cokie beach.

We enjoyed our stay. The grounds could use some upkeep. Our room was clean. There is a gym of some type right below pirates pension, a couple mornings we were woken up by an instructor with a bullhorn at 5:30am doing some type of boot camp in the parking lot. Nice view of harbor

The property is high up on a steep hill which is great for the view but tough when you are walking up it! We were smart enough to take a cab up the hill after having walked down to the town. Our suite faced the harbor where the cruise ships were docked and we thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the patio terrace, relaxing and admiring the view. A lounge chair on the terrace would've made it even better but we were content with chairs and a table. The room was modern and spacious with a washer/dryer (no detergent provided) and decent kitchen facility while the queen size bed was comfortable. We ate tasty sandwiches in the restaurant, had a (weak) pina colada at the pool bar, and both spots had a chill vibe and open air ambience. It was a short taxi ride ($15pp) from the airport and it took about half hour tax ride over to Sapphire Beach from Pirates' Pension ($20pp).

incredible view, great food, massive pool, great convenience store. I would preschedule your cab or taxi if you have an early flight but thankfully the front desk saved the day! Will definitely be back.

We only stayed 1 night due to our flight being canceled. Limited food options on property and the little shop closed early

It was not good location at all nor was it like a resort. It is hard to get around or to go anywhere you must either rent a car or be prepared for taxis the restaurant is very mediocre and high priced if I return I will stay somewhere else

The views were great, and the food was wonderful. Like several ST Thomas properties, walking from the resort to shops or restaurants was not easy. Must use taxis which are expensive

It’s safe, the bell boys take you to and from the main entrance when you can get a taxi. The downside is it’s not on a beach and they don’t clean the rooms. They have this weird policy where you take whatever you need and put it in a blue bag and put it outside and they switch with new ones. It’s very hard to get clean towels and they only do it once a day. Also if you need anything they only give you once a day with the laundry exchange. They say it’s due to COVID but really it’s due to laziness.
