Lovely waterfront location, easy parking, terrific views from our waterside patio. Delightful, well appointed room with THE most comfortable bed! (I’ll be asking the front desk for details on the mattress 😊) Plenty of dining options with harbor views within walking distance. Would definitely stay here again

The staff was friendly and personable. We very much enjoyed the free parking in a secure garage . The room was very comfortable, and my husband and I slept well. Our only draw back was the Nespresso machine. We are coffee drinkers and it was very hard to find any coffee on the premise. Unless you were in the restaurant. We would have rather had a Keurig or a small coffee maker.

The property is located next to a homeless shelter and 20 minute plus hike to old town. View was of a parking garage with homeless people hanging out in the alley. Could not acces fitness facility. Pool on terrace was a “wading pool”. Upcharges were crazy. Overall cost came to $400 plus per night. Clean room and building in good shape but location is terrible and a long walk to old town.

The property is on the bay, but the advertised "multiple view rooms" i.e. exectutive have no view except roofs and parking lot. This seems false advertising. I would not have stayed if I had known. There were other hotels with lower price with a view of the bay. Also the TV is in a cabinet that unless you know you need to push the doors back into the cabinet you cannot see the TV from most of the room. The staff were very friendly and the service in the bar and restaurant were exceptional. We enjoyed walking along the bayfront on the path. I would not stay again.

We loved this hotel. It is beautiful and comfortable. The views are amazing. But the best part was we went to the spa and 3 different wonderful restaurants and never had to go further than the other side of the parking lot.

Overall our stay was great, nice property and staff. We were very disappointed with the cleanliness of the room as we were not told it was a pet friendly room when we checked in. The couch and pillows had a bad order and were covered in pet hair, to the point of covering our clothes after sitting on it briefly. The staff responded well by sending someone to clean it once we called, but it made the couch less inviting after that experience.

Bathroom floor was covered in someone else's hair(I was traveling solo), Coffee maker in room had old coffee in it Bartender on 1st night was absolutely horrible. My dinner at the hotel restaurant- rice was dry, shrimp were overcooked and the mussels were undercooked They didn't ice any of the sidewalks or roads making it very hazardous. Check in was very courteous and helpful, but after that front desk help didn't show much concern about the issue with my room.

The staff at The Hotel Bellwether was very friendly and helpful. Erin, at the Front Desk, went above and beyond to help my wife and I with some ideas of what to do in Bellingham. We took her advice and were thrilled with the outcome. The restaurant on property was fantastic. We went in during happy hour and even though the dining room is closed at that time, they were happy to accomodate us because of our 2 year old daughter. The food was great, the presentation was perfect and the staff was very friendly. My wife and I plan to travel to Bellingham a couple times a year and we both agreed, The Hotel Bellwether is the only hotel we will stay in when we travel there. Thank you to everyone that made our trip so enjoyable.
