Comfort Suites Cincinnati Airport

The front desk attendant was on the phone for a LONG time while I waited to check-in. He was not friendly or welcoming. Then, at 12:30 am someone was trying to get into our room and pounding on the door. It appeared to be an employee - asking if the previous tenant had left an electric toothbrush in the room (there was none). I wanted to talk to the front desk and report this the next morning but there was no one around to speak with during breakfast. We had to leave at 7am for a flight and I never saw an employee downstairs that morning.

Friendly sevice, great locarjon by the airport, clean and reasonable.

Property is very tired. Got there, was dying to go to bathroom, common area bath had overflowed. Only person working was making an airport shuttle run. Bed lacked a lot, bathtub was gross. Not the rating that I was expecting.

The hotel is 4 minutes from the airport, that much is good. The night manager Ronald is wonderful, very helpful. Unfortunately this is one of the most poorly kept hotels I've seen in years. The elevator was not working and we were in the 3rd floor. The carpets were very old and were separating from the door threshold. The push bar on the stairwell door was falling off. Very poor condition. We were not able to check on for 15 minutes because the person doing check in also drives the shuttle.

This place was terrible. To start with, I had called this comfort inn before I reserved the rooms to see if I could park my car in their lot while we were on our family vacation. They told me that I could and seven days were included with my room, we had reserved two rooms. I called again the morning of our stay and I spoke to a very rude man who informed me that I could not keep the car there unless I had signed up to do so on the choice website. He told me it was too late to do it as a complementary parking so he charged me $120 to park there for 12 days, nobody told me that that would be the case. When we got to the rooms, They were nasty. The carpet was moist and the tile floors as you walk in the rooms were slippery and greasy. The rooms smelled like mildew, and the place was very noisy. I will never stay a comfort inn again.

Overall I had a pleasant stay overnight stay close to the airport. The only problem I had they did not have a vending machine in the hotel.

Nice roomy place that could easily sleep six and so I could easily get my friends to the airport.

The website states free roundtrip airport shuttle and free self parking on site. When we arrived we were told we would have to pay to park at the hotel if we left our car there. Why would the website say free self parking on site? Very disappointing. We booked this hotel for a reason and were misled.

Room smelled musty. They only had one person working front desk. Same person is also driving shuttle back and forth to airport AND same person also running the breakfast. Trying to restock and then drive shuttle. They need more staff It is impossible for one person to do and to do well. The gentleman doing it during our stay was great friendly and efficient but he cant do it all.
