I have stayed in extended stay worse than this, so was not surprised. It is a compromise to find a hotel with kitchen, but this establishment could do better. A noisy air conditioning unit in the hallway, a rickety elevator, unprotected side door, no cameras outside pointing to the parking lot, a pathetic breakfast (coffee mini muffins), these are some notable issues. A courteous staff made the stay much less painful despite the issues.

The first thing was that I paid for a double bed room and they canceled it a few hours before and I got one queen bed, it wasn’t good as I travel with my wife and kid

Where do I begin?? Let’s start with description of the room that said it was a room with two queen size beds, when the confirmation was received it said two double beds. The person at the counter said 'That's what we call queen beds - doubles" but what we found in the room was two double beds. The person that checked us in was wearing a t-shirt with some graphics like a face on it, not very professional. During check in, it was emphasized to us several times and we had to initial the check in form about the smoking policy stating no smoking allowed on the premises. We found this strange because there were ashtrays outside the entrance doors and cigarette butts all over the ground along with people sitting on the steps and curbs outside smoking. Even the room smelled like smoke. The room was very outdate and rough. The table had a broken leg that was propped back in place, any weight on it and it would have fell over. The floor was "greasy"? As you stood still your feet would be slowly sliding, similar to the cooking floor of a fast food restaurant. Outside there were people hanging around, smoking, eating chicken wings and throwing the bones on the ground. There was even an old grill that some of the people were using to cook on in the parking lot. This is a beautiful area with a lot of very nice restaurants and hotels so we were surprised at how dirty this place was.

I picked this property because we were travelling with 2 dogs. Since motels charge extra per dog, I did not want to pay more in dog fees than for the accommodation. The clerk had me sign a legal document that if I had known about, I should have brought my lawyer along to interrupt the legalese. She insisted that she charge my visa not only for the dog charges but also $100.00 deposit. I have never had this done before, usually they only put a hold on your card. She said, don’t worry you should see it credited in a week or two! After that she informed me that the only elevator was broken. We are two seniors and the dogs are dachshunds with back problems and had to be carried up the stairs. Two trips later we had our bags and dog paraphernalia in the room. The hallway reeked of smoke, the hallway was dark which kind of hid the filthy rug. Once in the room it looked clean, however there were pieces of popcorn on the floor. The walls were thin and you could hear transfer of sound from your neighbours. Also the electronic entry pad was broken so anyone could enter the building from the rear. Never have I been so happy to leave a place, even the dogs couldn’t wait to leave. Oh and only 1 tiny bar of soap and a take away breakfast. When I checked out, the clerk couldn’t figure out how to print out my bill, he said he would email it to me, I am still waiting!

The room was quite shabby and run down. The heater was cranked up to 90 and the room was still chilly—so it clearly didn’t function properly. While the room was not unclean, it wasn’t sparking, and the overall shabbiness of the place made me feel less than confident about the cleanliness overall.

Arrived late at night. Clerk at desk was clearly high on drugs. Seedy individuals in parking lot. Front door propped open when should have been locked. I was with my family and felt completley unsafe. Absolutley do not come to this place at night unless you are cool with drug dealers, pimps and prostitutes. Disgusting.

Nice, clean room. Large with a kitchenette. Had empty our own trash, go to front office desk to get things like fresh towels, wash cloths, toilet paper (I.e. No house keeping unless staying 7 days or more). This was a bit like staying at home instead of a hotel. Great location near restaurants and shopping. Only 10 minutes from the airport. Near the freeway. Free breakfast not really breakfast ( a granola bar and coffee but closeness to restaurants makes up for it). Overall I would stay here again.

I would love to talk about my stay at this hotel but it never happened. After booking online on Saturday, I arrived Monday only to be told that the hotel was sold out. I did wonder how this was possible, but then I realized that I had booked my room at a much cheaper rate than the much higher ‘eclipse’ pricing they were now offering. I do believe that my room was given away to someone else at a higher rate. Thanks Extended Stay! As a traveling nurse I appreciate being stuck out of town with nowhere to stay because of you. It was definitely an experience I’ll never forget because it’s never happened to me before.
