Hawthorn Suites Dayton North

It was interesting. Not enough parking, checked in and had to park 2 buildings away from the building we were in. It was sketchy, light switch covers busted, loose outlets, random mismatched bowls and a lot with a lid that was too big. Bed was uncomfortable, couch was a pullout without the mattress so it sagged bad. For the price and the amount of time we spent in the room, jsut shower and leave it worked but will choose something different next time. Rundown

Expedia should not be booking clients in a location that should have closed a long time ago. Room was dirty , many unsafe conditions, nothing at all like the description or pictures shown . If we could have left and located another property, we definitely would have . Extremely disappointed with Expedia , do not consider it a reliable booking company anymore . I will advise my fellow travelers to NOT book with Expedia ever . I do have pictures that I will share , both with friends and social media accounts.

It was VERY apparent the bedding had not been changed. Pulled pack the covers and there was what appeared to be a blood stain and pubic hairs all over the sheet. It was late when we discovered this. Had to get up very early to catch a flight otherwise I would have demanded my money back. Slept on top of covers, covered the pillows with our dirty clothes and covered up with our coats! Still haven't received the $100 room deposit! Can't get anyone to answer the phone to find out the status! Bottom line, this place was disgusting! I will go to the top if I need to to get my deposit back! As nasty as this place was, I should get a full refund!!

I did not stay, I paid, got to my room, saw how dirty it was, torn curtains, stained curtains, dark, police all over the parking lot, and went in to ask for a refund. They gave me a refund code, here it is 18 days later, still no credit. I am shocked that Expedia still has this hotel listed as an option.

The room was very dirty. Rings of dirt in the tub and sink. Orange sticky stuff dripped in the fridge. Several cracked pieces of tile. Dirt and food pieces in the corner of room and on the floor. The staff was friendly and parking was easy.

We were traveling with a group and had reserved three rooms. In every single room, something was broken. The photos online were very deceptive. It was clean enough but clearly in need of repairs and updating.

Everything to do with the hotel was amazing it was just like being at home you're even pots and pans and cooking utensils in the kitchen area. The only bad experience I had or other guests at the hotel that we're allowed the loud Highway but that goes of traveling highly recommend staying here

Great rooms great management + bang for the buck. a nice couch and fireplace was very welcome while traveling in the cold for work.

I should have had some idea what I was in for when I saw people hanging off the balcony with party streamers folks emptying out there car trunks in the parking lot and the not so well maintained property. At least 3 parties the smoke detector kept going off toilet seat and closet doors broken light bulbs out .....never again

My husband and I were traveling across country for a wedding with 2 teenagers in tow(our niece and nephew). We had 2 suites for the 4 of us in Dayton, Ohio. Our nephew loved the fitness room since football season is around the corner he didnt want to miss his workouts. Our niece loved the pool. My husband and I love the spaciousness of the suite, the kids played cards and my husband and I could have some privacy to plan the next leg of our journey. I have to say, as a woman, I love creature comforts like the full kitchen to cook and eat in, and also the bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on. I plan to call the hotel to ask because I have to buy one of those beds. The staff were wonderful and helpful and very professional. If I ever need to pick a hotel again I won't check into any place else!
