Guests frequently praise the resort's beautiful grounds, spacious rooms, and friendly staff. However, reviews also highlight significant drawbacks, including high prices for parking and other extras, limited availability of amenities due to ongoing renovations, and inconsistencies in room preparation and service. This hotel feels like a Vegas or Caribbean style resort despite its sort of random location near the Denver airport. Our kids had the best time enjoying both the indoor and outdoor pools—I actually think the hotel should advertise their pools better because I really didn’t expect much, and then when we walked outside, I was so pleasantly surprised by the vibe and amenities. The food on site was great, and we never felt the need to leave the resort.

So experience was really nice. Staff were amazing then you get to pricing I live in Colorado and in no shape does pricing reflect Colorado they gouge you with every single item that they sell from nine dollar fruit to $16 drinks pizzas that are extremely expensive to say, they are thrown in them Fast microwaves they not only charge you for hotel room which in the high 5 star range. They also charge you parking and extra fees so a $400 room is always nearly 460. I would recommend staying away from this hotel as it has amenities for a few days only and the pricing does not reflect what they have. if you’re planning to use a waterpark go to a proper waterpark because the price you paid just for the parking you would pay for the waterpark in Colorado. I would recommend if you do stay at this hotel the food and restaurant go externally. They’re far cheaper an take cash if you plan on paying that way.

Was charged full price for a hotel that is on 20% accessible and 20 % open... they are undergoing remodeling so you would think it would be known before you finally book a room for $450 for one night!!?!? Was told they hotel took cash throughout the hotel and was not true, said i got upgraded to a mountain view for the bait and switch, barley see the mountain and not what i came for... i did get a free cabana but thats because i told them i would just take my money back because i live inly a hour away but i met and talked to numerous people or couples, most who came from out of state and were extremely upset with the same issues! BAIT AND SWITCH!! Either take down all the beautiful pictures of how the resort USED to look or put up the NEW ones of how crappy and uninviting the so called "RESORT " looks now! When people are spending 400- 500$ a night taht evening!! And the Indoor pool is also closed! Hers a tip!! If your a family and going foor the pool experience, stay down the road at the MANY other hotels for only $150 a night and just sneak into their pool since the is no security and the door to use you room key to get in doesn't work lol! So you can literally walk in and hang out all day for free, besides parking fee!

A good place convenient to Denver Airport. More to do than simply spending the night when you have a layover.

Valet and Bell service never communicated baggage transfer to room. Tipped all people that helped and we ended up retrieving the luggage from our own vehicle in valet parking. Communication was poor and unprepared.

I truly expected more from this hotel. For starters, I travelled with an infant and requested an electric kettle or microwave. I was made to understand that neither is available in the hotel due to fire hazards but walked by a few rooms and saw electric kettles on the outside. There were several families with infants at the hotel but I was the only one who, on a daily basis had to go to the Starbucks with a Thermos and request hot water to make formula for my infant, night and day. There was a huge disconnect between the reception and the restaurants, we were told by the reception that we can do takeout in one of the restaurants and showed up and was told no takeout and we will need to book a reservation, to which booking was then impossible. The valet was a mess, it took 45 minutes to an hour and a half to get your vehicle on some days (even where the lot was empty and I was the only one standing outside requesting a vehicle) and persons who came after me would get their car in a record-breaking 15mins. Our Room was rarely cleaned even where we had that option on check-in, the sheets were never changed for the 7 days we stayed. The blood from the frequent nose bleeds was still on the sheets when we checked out. The plus about The Gaylord is that the staff was very friendly and the location was convenient. The amenities were also ok.
