Quality Inn & Suites Des Moines Airport

We have stayed there many times. The building is going down hill fast and looking like it needs an update. We have always stayed there and parked our car for flight and they kept the car. All of the sudden this trip they charged us that was unexpected

For my purposes, I was very happy with my stay. The airport shuttle service is the best I have ever seen and the location to the airport was the best I have ever seen.

For being by airport, it was very quiet at hotel. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable.

I stayed one night, had an early AM flight the next day. It was adequate for one night.

Good location close to airport, but could have have done much better for price.

There was seemingly no elevator at the hotel. If you have heavy luggage this is a problem. The staff were friendly enough but they don’t really give much effort to offer service. For example, I couldn’t make a shuttle reservation at my convenience I had do make it to their convenience and there was no corkscrew or complimentary water.

Our flights were delayed and our travel plans were ruined for the weekend, I called the hotel to advise of the changes to our itinerary and requested a refund and was told no. We paid for the room we never made it to. I had 5 companies to get refunds from, from hotels to rental cars and all of them were understanding EXCEPT this hotel. The young lady I spoke with was very rude. We will not be booking with this hotel ever again.

The girl at the front desk, her name was something like Celina, or close to that. She was the most wonderful, kind, and friendly person I have ever encountered at any motel, hotel or other place where it really counts to GREAT customer service. We stayed a total of 3 nights at your property. As we said when we came back for the last night, we stayed at the "worst and are back to the BEST".. I will always stay at the Quality Inn in Des Moines by the airport each and every time I come to Des Moines. I have family in town, and come to Des Moines quite often.

Had a smell through out the hotel. Bad enough there was a deoderizer on the heat/AC unit. Never seen that before. Also requested late checkout. called to confirm. Confirmed With the day manager. Night person argued that it was not on the reservation. Said we cant " we are too busy"on a tuesday night with 1\2 parking lot empty. Got the feeling give me your money and get the heck out or well charge you extra for something. This is a 50 to 60 dollar hotel at best. If your paying more your getting ripped off. I wont be staying here again. Those local guides/reviewers giving 4 or 5 stars are either family of the owners or paid to give great reviews.

Our favorite hotel to stay while traveling on the road. Great for kids and adults!
